The Arab said, "I am neither a thief nor a magician." The Arab said that he was neither a thief nor a magician. He said, "I haven't seen the camel." He said that he hadn't seen the camel. He said, "This morning I saw the tracks of a camel." He said that he had seen the tracks of a camel that morning. The Arab said, "I don't know where he is." The Arab said that he didn't know where he was.
John said, "I am too busy to leave." John said that he was too busy to leave. He said, "I will be back at two o'clock." He said that he would be back at two o'clock. Mary said, "I can speak English quite well now." Mary said that she could speak English quite well. The merchants asked, "Where is the camel now?" The merchants asked where the camel was then. The merchants asked the Arab, "What have you done with the camel and the jewels?" The merchants asked the Arab what he had done with the camel and the jewels. The Arab asked, "Is the camel blind in one eye?" The Arab asked whether the camel was blind in one eye. The Arab asked, "Has he lost a tooth?" The Arab asked whether he had lost a tooth.
