This part was mainly written by Mrs. Auguste Liese, coming from Olpe which in part had the same ancestors. She was helped by Clemens August Heinrich WEBER, he lived in the rectory to vikaris to Olpe Olpe, Auf der Mauer 6. (Since 1921 to Lichtenau priest at Paderborn) The family lived at: Olpe, Stachelauer Hütte, Lichtenau, Windhausen (Attendorn), Kupferdreh, Lenne, Welschenen nest, Attendorn, Olpe, C, Elben (KR. Altenhof (in Turn), Gerlingen, Arnsberg (W)., Altena (W), Menden (KR. Iserlohn), Neuen-Kleusheim, Elberfeld, Macdonald, Rhaunen (Hunsrück), Koblenz, Wittlich (on the Mosel), Ottweiler (to the Saar), Meinertzhagen, Gütersloh, Bochum, Wesel, Düsseldorf, Berlin-Grünenwald, Gaggenau, Heddernheim (bij Frankfurt am Main), Eisenach, Weimar, Chicago (USA), Antwerpen (België). Outside the town of Olpe, there are also carriers of the name WEBER for near Olpe, as Dahl, Sassmicke and also in the district. We do not know yet whether there is a link with the genus WEBER III. The families Weber from Olpe (also written WEUER, Weaver and WAITE) were already starting from the 17th century involved in the local copper and iron industry. For 1768 was Bernhard Weber Manager of the "Hüttenwerke" (hoogovens) "von Brabeck to Stachelau at Olpe". He also managed the "Stahl-Hütte" in Dohm at Olpe that was called the "Olper Hütte". His son, Jakob Weber, became owner of the two "Hütten" together with the "Wissener Hütte" at to clear, the Sieg. After his death in 1858 the Stachelau-Hütte remained property of his descendants until they as a result of adverse economic conditions, in the beginning of 1860, was closed and then completely decayed.
