COROLLA is three quarter flared with turned under smooth petal margins; opens purple (81A), white (155B) base; matures dark rose (71D); 29mm (1 1/8”) long x 25mm (1”) wide. PETALOIDS: dark reddish purple (72A); 18mm (11/16”) long x 11mm (7/16”) wide. SEPALS are horizontal, tips recurved; light reddish purple (72D), white (155B) base, tipped light green (142C) upper surface; light rose (73C) tipped light green (142C) lower surface; 33mm (1 5/16”) long x 17mm (11/16”) wide. TUBE is white (155B); medium length & thickness; 22mm (7/8”) long x 5mm (3/16”) wide. STAMENS extend 12mm (1/2”) beyond the corolla; light reddish purple (72C) filaments; purple (79D) anthers. PISTIL extends 27mm (1 1/16”) below the corolla; violet (77B) style; dark purple (79B) stigma. BUD is elongated. FOLIAGE: dark green (136B) upper surface; medium green (138B) lower surface. Storey Time’ - No. 5687 (Storey 2005) Double. Upright. COROLLA is quarter flared, very full, with wavy petal margins; opens purple (81A); matures reddish purple (79C) veined red; 18mm (11/16”) long x 18mm (11/16”) wide. SEPALS are half up, tips recurved up; magenta (57B) upper surface; magenta (58B) lower surface; 19mm (3/4”) long x 20mm (13/16”) wide. TUBE is magenta (57B); short, medium thickness; 7mm (1/4”) long x 6mm (1/4”) wide. STAMENS extend 15mm (9/16”) beyond the corolla; magenta (57B) filaments; magenta (59C) anthers. PISTIL extends 21mm (13/16”) below the corolla; light pink (62B) style; white tipped magenta (67B) stigma. BUD is globuler, small point. FOLIAGE: medium green (137B) upper surface; medium green (138B) lower surface. Leaves are 50mm (2”) long x 30mm (1 3/16”) wide, cordate shaped, serrulated edges, acute tips and rounded bases. Veins & stems are green; branches are pinkish red. PARENTAGE: (‘Pink Fantasia’ x ‘Estelle Marie’) x ‘Eileen Storey’. Small upright. Self branching. Makes good upright. Prefers full sun. Cold weather hardy to 24º F. Best bloom color in bright light. Tested five years in Burstwick, East Yorkshire area of England. Distinguished by double flowers facing horizontal to upright.
