COROLLA is quarter flared with turned under wavy petal margins; opens orange (40C); matures light orange (41C); 12mm (1/2”) long x 10mm (3/8”) wide. SEPALS are horizontal, tips recurved; pale orange (22C), light orange (41C) base upper surface; coral (37A) lower surface; 15mm (9/16”) long x 5mm (3/16”) wide. TUBE is reddish purple (61B); long & thin; 48mm (1 7/8”) long x 4mm (3/16”) wide. STAMENS do not extend beyond the corolla; light pink (38C) filaments; yellowish orange (22A) anthers. PISTIL extends 2mm (1/16”) below the corolla; coral (37A) style; light yellowish orange (19C) stigma. BUD is elongated, longish. FOLIAGE: dark green (139A) upper surface; medium green (138B) lower surface. Leaves are 127mm (5”) long x 71mm (2 13/16”) wide, ovate shaped, wavy edges, obtuse tips and rounded bases. Veins are plum (183D); stems are plum (183B); branches are grayish red (182B). PARENTAGE: ‘Insulinde’ x ‘F. fulgens var gesnariana’. Small upright. Self branching. Makes good upright. Prefers overhead filtered light, warm climate. Best bloom & foliage color in filtered light. Tested three years in Koningshooikt, Belgium. Meise 8-14-04. Distinguished by small groups of flowers.

COROLLA is three quarter flared with turned under wavy petal margins; opens reddish purple (80B), rose (51C) base; matures light purple (78B); 23mm (15/16”) long x 13mm (1/2”) wide. PETALOIDS: light purple (80C), rose (51C) base; 10mm (3/8”) long x 8mm (5/16”) wide. SEPALS are fully up, tips recurved; white (155C), tipped light apple green (145C) upper surface; pale pink (55C), tipped light apple green (145C) lower surface; 36mm (1 7/16”) long x 10mm (3/8”) wide. TUBE is white (155C); medium length & thickness; 14mm (9/16”) long x 5mm (3/16”) wide. STAMENS extend 10mm (3/8”) beyond the corolla; dark rose (64C) filaments; purple (71A) anthers. PISTIL extends 23mm (15/16”) below the corolla; rose (68C) style; pale rose (73D) stigma. BUD is elongated. FOLIAGE: dark green (139A) upper surface; medium green (138A) lower surface. Leaves are 68mm (2 11/16”) long x 27mm (1 1/16”) wide, ovate shaped, serrulated edges, acute tips and rounded bases. Veins are dark red purple (187D); stems are plum (185B); branches are medium green (138B) & plum (185C). PARENTAGE: ‘Sofie Michiels’ x ‘Weleveld’. Lax upright or stiff trailer. Self branching. Makes good basket. Prefers overhead filtered light, cool climate. Best bloom & foliage color in filtered light. Tested four years in Koningshooikt, Belgium. Meise 8-14-04. Distinguished by flower shape.
