Course title: Psychology of Professional development

Credit points: 6

Assessment: graded test/exam
Course goals and objectives:

- to review the psychological regularities of personal growth within the frameworks of professional development;

- to introduce the master students to theoretical notions of the essence of professional development, factors and opportunities;

- to develop initial analytical skills to facilitate professional development of a client;

- to develop with the master students initial skills to facilitate their own professional development.
Course annotation:
The courses looks into the essence of professional development and personal growth, the main stages of those, internal and external factors contributing to the development. Special attention is paid to the crises in the development, changes in the system of professional values and notions.

Changes in the system of professional values and notions are considered as the core moment in the professional development.
