Course goals and objectives:

To acquaint the master students with historical background of engineering psychology and the contemporary situation in the field;

To acquaint the master students with the range of problematic issues in engineering psychology;

To acquaint the master students with the development of engineering psychology throughout history and contemporary research conducted in the field;

To create a comprehensive understanding of the goals and objectives of engineering psychology, about the specifics of the field.

The study course looks into the methodological foundations of engineering psychology, psycho-physiological grounds of operator’s activity, engineering-psychology related grounds of the systems “human - machine” design and operation. The course comprises practical classes.
