HOW COULD I GIVE YOU UP EPHRAIM? THE GREATEST LOVE STORY EVER TOLDA STUDY OF THE BOOK OF HOSEAFrom Hosea 11 and 14: “How could I give you up Ephraim? How could I hand you over Israel? How could I make you like Admah? How could I treat you like Zeboim? [two cities of the plain, destroyed with Sodom and Gomorrah] My heart turns within Me. All my compassion is kindled. I shall not let the heat of My wrath burn. I shall not turn to destroy Ephraim. For I am El and not man--the Set-Apart One in your midst--and I shall not come in enmity. Let them follow Yahuweh. Like a lion He roars. And when He roars, then sons come trembling from the west. Oh Israel, return to Yahuweh your Elohhim…I shall heal their backslidings, I shall love them spontaneously, for My displeasure has turned away from him”. (Italics mine) This Shabbat morning Abba Yahuweh, with the Spirit of Truth to teach me, I went through the book of Hosea, written exclusively to the House of Ephraim. When He teaches, He is very personal. I had to stop over and over and weep--for my own sins and the sins of Ephraim, because I am mostly from the House of Ephraim. At the end of 1998, Abba spoke to me: “You are of the tribe of Asher”. I never had such peace in my life that night as I studied the prophecies to Asher. My mother often quoted from the prophecy to Asher “as your days are, so shall your strength be”. Later Abba confirmed it in so many ways. The story in Hosea is the story of my own life from beginning to now. His mercy, loving kindness and compassion are beyond description. When we realize what we deserve for our sins, and His great love to forgive us and restore us, all we can do is humble ourselves and repent, weep for our sin, and cry with joy for His great Father’s heart. As we go through the book of Hosea and see the sins that caused Yahuweh to have to drive the ten northern tribes into exile AMONG the nations, in punishment for 2, 730 years, we should weep greatly--for these are our forefathers, and this is us! He had to break the engagement with the ten northern tribes, writing a “bill of divorcement”, and send them away from His land AMONG gentiles (nations) who did not know Him, for their evil was that great—our evil is that great. Today, we still sin as they did then, some to lesser degrees, some to a greater degree, but we all are included in Page 1 the sins of Ephraim, unless you are 100% Judah or Levi that is. But, at one point Yahuweh said that Judah was worse than Ephraim. It was the guarding of Torah that kept Judah from suffering the same fate. [For understanding, study with the articles “Who Are the Ten?” and “Are You A Gentile?”] Ephraim became a wild olive branch, but remained an olive branch. The olive tree is a symbol of Israel. But through faith in the shed blood and resurrection of Messiah Yahushua, the wild olive branch can become a new creation, and re-grafted in to the tree of Israel (Ya’cob). Messiah Yahushua said in Matthew 15:24: “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the House of Israel”. He told His disciples (taught ones) in Matthew 10:5-6: “Do not go into the way of the gentiles (the barbaric, heathen, pagan, foreign, stranger, alien, nations); do not enter a city of the Samaritans, but rather go to the lost sheep of the House of Israel”. And so that’s what the Apostles did, for the renewed covenant with Yahuweh, in the blood of Yahushua, is with the House of Israel, and the House of Judah (Jeremiah 31:31-34). Matthew 26:28: “For this is My blood, that of the renewed covenant, which is shed for many for the forgiveness of sins”. The word translated as “new” in Greek carries the same meaning as the Hebrew word translated as “new” in Jeremiah 31:31 – it means a refreshing of what was old, a renewal, as the new moon is a renewal each month. Messiah came to restore and renew the covenant of Yahuweh with His people, in His own blood, for the forgiveness of the sins of Ephraim, and of Judah, including offering forgiveness to all the peoples of the earth, who would enter into covenant with Yahuweh (Exodus 12:48-49; Isaiah 56:6-7 and Ezekiel 47:21-23, as examples). The Elohim of Abraham Isaac and Y’acob (Jacob) never made a covenant with “gentiles”. He NEVER refers to His people as gentiles! He says His people were scattered AMONG the gentiles! He says He will bring His people from AMONG the gentiles. Can one who is not of the House of Ya’cob, not one of the twelve tribes, be saved by receiving the salvation of Yahushua by faith? Yes! As I said above Exodus 12:48-49, Isaiah 59:3-8, and Ezekiel 47:22-23 attest to that. No one in Messiah is considered a gentile (heathen, barbarian, etc.)--Ephesians 2:8-19 is very clear. Rahab and Ruth are good examples. The love of Yahuweh cost Him the sacrifice of His own Son. (Isaiah 53) Messiah came to buy back, redeem, the “lost sheep of the House of Israel”. Once the divorce was official, even though it was to break Page 2 the engagement sealed at Sinai, according to His own Torah, because Ephraim was a whore, and still is, Yahushua could not remarry her. (Deuteronomy 24:1-4) The House of Israel-Ya’cob (Ephraim/Joseph) whored in northern Israel; she whored in the nations; she is still whoring. She is still an idolater. She still rejects the Torah of Yahuweh for the most part. Thus He is coming for a remnant who love Him. In the nations Ephraim embraced the great whore of Babylon-- Revelation 17 describes the counterfeit religion from Nimrod. The ten northern tribes went along with Jeroboam to create a counterfeit religion. And so in the nations, she quickly embraced the counterfeit religion – the counterfeit of Yahushua, who came to restore her to the covenant of Yahuweh by His own blood. She rejected the Torah of Yahuweh. Yahushua paid the price for her, the price for His Bride – His own blood, yet she chose a Greek/Roman counterfeit religion in the nations because it suited her whoring heart. This counterfeit became a cheap grace, easy-belief religion. Ephraim accepted a substitute god as her savior, based on the Greek savior, Zeus, and the Persian savior, Mithra, and used her religion to advance her power, control, authority and wealth. I think most of you understand I am referring to Greco/Roman Christianity, whose root is Nimrod. For documentation on this refer to: “The Foundation of Deception” – a complete study on the roots of pagan Christianity from the mid-first century. Yahuweh and Yahushua are NOT a religion! Many Ephramites are coming out of the religion of Christianity. Some are angry to know they’ve been in falsehood. But few are repenting for being in falsehood. So they seek another religion to jump into. They begin listening to intellect-provoking false teachers, and many are jumping into the religion of Rabbinic Judaism, created by Rabbi Akiva around 133 CE, not realizing it is also a branch of Catholic Rome. [Refer to: “Exposing Rabbinic Judaism and Its Link to Rome”] The Greeks and Romans hated the Torah and outlawed it. The renegade House of Ephraim went right along with that hate, so when told by their “church” that they didn’t have to keep Torah anymore, Ephraim was content with it. Protestant broke with Rome, but its despising of the Torah didn’t change. Ephraim has little interest in personal knowledge of the Word of Yahuweh, except to gain intellectual knowledge – and very little interest in obeying it. The lifestyle required of a disciple is not understood by the western mind. Those of the affluent west are too in love with appeasing their fleshly desires to lay down their life for a Master. Ephraim is too busy to sit in the Presence of Yahuweh to let His Spirit teach them. They are too busy with their own plans to care
about His. Ephraim sees a free ticket out of hell as good, but not commitment to Yahushua as His disciple—“taught one”. Slowly and prayerfully go through the book of Hosea. In it, Yahuweh reveals the sins of Ephraim that caused Him to have to separate from them. Now the seed of the ten northern tribes is as the stars of the heavens and the sand of the sea for number—they cannot be counted. Judah can be counted, but not Ephraim. Quite a number of Ehramites have some DNA from Judah also, like myself. Religious spirits work in Ephraim to cause them to “want to be Jewish”. A lot of the lost ten have an identity problem! Sadly, some Ephramites are deceitfully scheming to get Israeli citizenship by pretending to deny Yahushua. This is a damning deception. [Refer to: “Ashamed”] But, we must realize that Ephraim is the prodigal, the pig-slop eating prodigal of Luke 15:11-32. Read that carefully. Judah is the older brother--proud and haughty against the repentant prodigal, Ephraim. These two spirits war in the minds and emotions of those with both Houses in their DNA--religious pride, and yet a feeling of rejection and inferiority to Judah. Beware of where those spirits can take you! Remove yourself from religion! Learn to know Elohim by His Word as taught by His Spirit. Yahuweh stripped the prodigal--all of his pride was taken away. He had received his inheritance from his father, and then went away and squandered it in appeasing his flesh. “Ephraim says `Indeed, I have become rich; I have found wealth for myself’…But, I am Yahuweh your Elohim since the land of Egypt, again I shall make you dwell in tents…” (Hosea 12:8-9) When his money ran out the prodigal was destitute. He found work feeding pigs in a pigsty. He began thinking--even the servants of his father were better off. So, he rehearsed his lines of repentance, even though he most likely wished he had his money and fun lifestyle back, and went to his father to beg to be one of his servants. He did not expect the reception he got. This is the heart of Abba Yahuweh. He will reduce the pride of Ephraim down to a pigsty-and humble him. Ephraim would love to continue in affluence. Going back to Yahuweh is not what Ephraim’s sin nature would choose on his own. But, because of Yahuweh stripping him of all of his idols and his abilities to provide for himself, Ephraim wants to go home. When world economy collapses, and that’s soon, all those who are now flying high monetarily will all of a sudden be reduced to helplessness. The intellect and pride of man won’t be able to handle it, and many will commit suicide. (Isaiah 2:11-22 and Ezekiel 7) Famine is also coming, and the proud and lofty will be reduced to eating pig slop, like the prodigal. Page 4 Abba Yahuweh knows that Ephraim loves sin. But, the father in the parable sees the prodigal afar off, and rejoices. Yahuweh sees us afar off and rejoices that we are returning to Him. He knew us before the foundation of the world: I Peter 1:1-4 and Ephesians 1:1-5. Yes, there will be a remnant of Ephraim as there is of Judah, who will come home because they want to. But, for the manipulative prodigal, He gives the words of Jeremiah 32:37-41; Ezekiel 20:34-44 and 36:16-32. Yet, no matter why the prodigal returns the robe is ready, and the fatted calf, and the rejoicing, for the return of the sinner. Read all of Luke 15 and weep. It’s talking about you, and me. Read aloud Jeremiah 31, and the above Scriptures in Jeremiah and Ezekiel--proclaim the love and goodness of Yahuweh for the House of Ephraim. [Refer to: Aliyah Scriptures] I am preparing to go on a major intercession assignment to the further-most point where Ephraim went before crossing the Atlantic, to call the remnant of Ephraim to repentance and return to Yahuweh. Today, besides Europe, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada – the “young lions of Tarshish”, America has a greater concentration of the tribes of Israel than any other nation on earth, and is second in population of Judah next to modern Israel, the nation. The end of Ephraim’s punishment was September 12, 2007--the final year, from 722 BCE, of their dispersion out of the land into the nations. Their punishment was 2, 730 years, as per the mathematics in Ezekiel 4:4-5 and Leviticus 26. Now a small remnant is coming home. The great remnant will come at the resurrection of the just, when Messiah comes. Right now the political nation of Israel has kept limits on who can be a citizen—those with proper records proving they are Jews. It is of Yahuweh. He has held back the influx of Ephraim until the time that Ephraim repents and humbles themselves, and seeks Yahuweh with a broken heart.
Those “near” were the Ephraimites who went into captivity with Judah when Nebuchadnezzar burned Jerusalem. Those “afar off” were most of us. So Daniel included us in his repentance. We must follow his example, and humble ourselves and repent for the sins that caused our ancestors to be driven from His land—following the sins of Jeroboam. Use Daniel 9:1-19 for your own prayer. As you go through Hosea, and also study what happened when the ten northern tribes split from the southern tribes of Judah and Levi, read I Kings 12:25-33 in context. The great passion of the heart of Yahuweh and His Son Yahushua is for the re-gathering of all of the tribes back to the land! Jeremiah 32:37-41: “See, I am gathering them out of all the lands where I have driven them in My displeasure, and in My wrath, and in great rage. And I shall bring them back to this place (Samaria and Judea), and shall let them dwell in safety. And they shall be My people, and I shall be their Elohim. And I shall give them one heart and one way, to fear Me, all the days, for the good of them and their children after them. And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I do not turn back from doing good to them. And I shall put My fear in their heart so as not to turn aside from Me. And I shall rejoice over them to do good to them, and shall plant them in this land in truth, WITH ALL MY HEART AND ALL MY SOUL”. (Italics mine) Hosea 1: The prophet is told by Yahuweh to take a whore for himself, for the whole land of Israel (northern ten tribes) is whoring. By her, he had three children. The first, a son, was named Jezre’el – meaning “Elohim will sow”--will sow judgment. The second was a daughter, whose name was Lo-Rubamah, which means “not pitied”. Of her Yahuweh said “no longer do I have compassion on the house of Israel so as to forgive them all”. The third was a son, named Lo-Ammi, which means “not My people”, of which He said: “you are not my people, and I am not for you”. Hosea 2: Yahuweh begins pronouncing judgment and listing Israel’s sins: “… she is not My wife, nor am I her Husband!” Verses 4-7: Similar wording that the prodigal son used to his father: “And I shall not have compassion on her children, for they are the children of whoring. For their mother has whored, she who conceived them has acted shamelessly. For she said, `I go after my lovers who give me my bread and my water, my wool and my linen, my oil and my drink’. Therefore I am hedging up your way with thorns, and I shall wall her Page 6 in, so that she does not find her paths. And she shall pursue her lovers but not overtake them, and shall seek hem but not find them. Then she shall say `Let me go and return to my first husband, for then it was better for me than now.” “Whoring” in the Word is breaking the first three commandments – putting other gods in His face, running after what appeases the flesh, and rejecting His rule over us, and bringing His Name to nothingness. The free-soul attitudes of rebellion, stubbornness, and being head-strong, goes after what is self-pleasing, self-advancing, and rejects the responsibility to obey the Creator. Such is the whole culture of the western world! Greco/Roman culture is Lucifer-rooted, based on the thinking of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Thus, the whore does not want to submit to the boundaries of the Elohim of the tree of life. All follow after Adam and Eve’s thinking, and so lose the precious Presence of the Creator. Hosea 2:12: “`And I shall punish her for the days of the Ba’als to which she burned incense and adorned herself with her rings and jewelry and went after her lovers, and forgot Me’, declares Yahuweh”. In the worship of the Ba’als, sun gods, there was the sacrifice of children to the statues of the gods, passing them into the fire to appease the gods. Not only Ephraim, but Judah also burned their children to pagan gods. These were our forefathers! In many ways good parents today sacrifice their children on Satan’s altars without realizing it. [Refer to: “Gentle Sacrifice”] Almost all western “believers”, citizens of the culture of Greece and Rome, fall into the category of whores to different degrees. Jeremiah speaks of those with a “whore’s forehead” – who refuse to repent. There is a growing phenomenon of so-called “believers” doing meanness to others without any thought of repentance. Yes, the number of people who are so haughty that they refuse to repent is rising drastically in our day. The “Jezebel” spirit is growing more and more powerful by the day. Most Christians and Messianic “believers” live their lives like the world--like the whoring world. They make excuses for not obeying the Word. They have little time for His Word, for His Presence, to be taught by Him, to be led by Him, to obey Him, to give up free will to submit to Him. They want to be the master of their own life. They use their mind to reject His leading, and plan their own way. They have no concept of living by child-like faith and trust, and obedience. They want their houses and lands, their goods, their social lives, their entertainment, and of course their money—for most, their god is mammon (money). To give up these idols of security and Page 7 their trust in man is almost too hard for their flesh-driven minds to understand at all. Thus, they continue with their “Ba’als” -- their “lord”--their gods of pleasure and power and control, while all the time thinking they are good Christians or Messianic people. The ancient Canaanite religion of Ba’al Gawd – which means “the lord of fortune and prosperity” has become the religion of most in the western world. Their lust for money, control, power and possessions drives them mentally, emotionally, and physically. So they have little time for the Word, outside their tiny dose of it on either Saturday or Sunday morning. But, fear dominates the emotions of so many of these people. They fear greatly losing what they have worked so hard for--their idols. Yet, even now, the judgment of Yahuweh is upon America with storms of all types, destroying the idols. His judgment will continue until there is nothing left of them. When the economy collapses and riots begin, martial law will take over, and many will lose their lives. So many mask themselves with a mask of niceness to the outside world, yet, iYahuweh says He will strip her naked (Hosea 2:10). It is time that we got honest with ourselves – and allow Him to expose the rottenness we’ve tried to hide. The prayer of Psalm 139:23-24 is a good place to begin. Let Him open up your heart and show you what sin lurks inside. The true set-apart ones, like King David, are quick to repent with tears, and then not do the sin again. Pride in one’s intellect is one of the main sins of Ephraim. Jeroboam reasoned in his heart that if the people went to Jerusalem for the festivals, they’d be turned towards King Solomon’s son Rehoboam, and get out from under his control. So he reasoned that he would create gods for them. He placed two golden calves and altars for sacrificing to them--one in Bet El and one in Dan.I saw the one in Dan. He put in a priesthood of his own, and created a festival in the eighth month that would rival Sukkot. The northern tribes embraced that with joy. Jeroboam was the first anti-messiah, the first Constantine – who threw out the Torah and replaced it with what is similar in Christianity. The very name “Christianity” means a follower of “Christ”. “Christ” was a god of Alexandria, Egypt and of Greece. The translation of the Hebrew “Machiach” is Messiah, not Christ. Yet in Hosea 2 and 3, He gives His loving promises to Ephraim: “`And in that day’ declares Yahuweh, `you shall call Me “Ishe” – my husband – and no longer call me `my Lord’ ” (Ba’al). Hosea 2:19-20: “And I shall take you as a bride unto Me forever, and take you as a bride unto Me in righteousness and in right-ruling and Page 8 loving kindness and compassion, and shall take you as a bride unto me in faithfulness, and you shall know Me’ ”. Why do the rebellious children of Y’acob have to be so crushed and ruined before they will give up and return to Yahwueh? Why do so few even want to take the time to know Him? Again in Hosea 3 are His promises of restoration. Hosea 3:5 concludes with a timeframe: “Afterward, the children of Israel shall return and seek Yahuweh their Elohim and David their sovereign, and fear Yahuweh and His goodness IN THE LATTER DAYS”. We are well into the “latter days”, as you know. In Hosea we see two aspects of Yahuweh’s nature clearly--justice and love. He is light—“a consuming fire”. By His very nature, He has to destroy darkness. Yet, His love crushes Him to have to judge those He loves. In Revelation 15:7-8, Abba is so grieved that the bowls of wrath have to be poured out that He sends the angels out of the throne room, until its over. What grief, what love! We must realize that we have a part in creating His grief. So, He sent Yahushua to die for us, to redeem us. But, then His people went after the Greek counterfeit of His Son--Iesous (Jesus)--created by the Hellenised Jews and Greeks to try to stop the fast-growing belief in Yahushua that continued to stress the guarding of Yahuweh’s Torah. They went after Sha’ul with a vengeance to try to stop him, for Torah-guarding Sha’ul was a thorn in their side. So, as Kepha said in II Kepha 3:15-16, they twisted the words of “our beloved brother”. Now, a small remnant understands the work of His Son and embraces it by faith unto new birth. A small remnant has submitted to His Spirit to lead them. A small remnant is now learning obedience to His set-apart Torah--teachings and instructions of the Kingdom of heaven, for our life on this earth in joy and peace. It is always a small remnant, but for a small remnant He has given all. The only way He could reconcile His need to judge darkness and His love was through the death of His only begotten Son. Yahuweh says there is no salvation outside of Him … and this is true, of course, but Yahuweh is Spirit. So, Yahushua Yahuweh, the Son in His likeness and image, was begotten from Yahuweh’s very inner being, so that He could take flesh and die. Without His death, the two aspects of Yahuweh’s nature could not be reconciled. Hosea 4:6: “My people have perished for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge I reject you from being priest to Me. Since you have forgotten the Torah of your Elohim, I also forget your children”. He called the nation of Israel to be a priest to Him—to come Page 9 before His Presence and intercede for His people. Exodus 19:6: “And you shall be to me a kingdom of priests, a set-apart nation.” He is telling Israel that He rejects them from His Presence, because they have rejected the knowledge of Him that He gave them. From Hosea 4:12, 16: “…a spirit of whoring has led them astray…For Israel is stubborn”. Jeremiah 3:3: “…You have a whore’s forehead, you refuse to be ashamed”. Revelation 2:21: This Jezebel refused to repent. Hosea 4:10: “…they have stopped obeying Yahuweh.” Verse 17: “Ephraim is joined to idols…they have whored continually. Her rulers wildly love shame”. Excerpts from Hosea 5:3, 4, 7, 11, 13 15; 6:1-3: “…For now, O Ephraim, you have whored. Israel is defiled. Their deeds do not allow them to turn back to their Elohim, for the spirit of whoring is among them, and they do not know Yahuweh…They act treacherously against Yahuweh…they have brought forth strange children…Ephraim is oppressed, crushed in judgment, because he walked after the commands when it pleased him…Ephraim went to Ashur and sent to Sovereign Yareb. He is unable to heal you, or to remove the wound from you…I shall go, I shall return to My place, UNTIL they confess their guilt and seek My face, in their distress diligently search for Me and say: `Come let us turn back to Yahuweh, for He has torn, but He does heal us, He has stricken but He binds us up. After two days He shall revive us, on the third day He shall raise us up so that we live in His sight. So let us know, let us pursue to know Yahuweh. His going forth is as certain as the dawn. And He comes to us like the rain, like the latter rain watering the earth?” Look at the sins. The spirit of whoring is so ingrained in the people of Yahuweh that they do not know it is controlling them, driving them in their lust for other things besides Him. “Strange children”: It is possible that they were into DNA manipulation as they are now – creating Rephaim, for many of the first Celts, people who came from across the Black Sea going west, were giants (Rephaim). Yahuweh has to crush Ephraim to get out all the pride of self-will, or intellectual arrogance, or pleasure seeking for their flesh. Then, Ephraim, the prodigal, will think about how good it is in the Father’s house. This is you and me – this is our heritage! We must repent of these sins, and let Him rid us of their effects! By repentance we clear the way for the return of the remnant of Ephraim. We are now in the third day since Messiah came. After 2,730 years, in
Ephraim’s third day, He revived them, and ended their punishment—our punishment—September 12, 2007. [Refer to: “The Shmittah Year Prophecy”, “The Forty-Eight Hour Transition” and “The September 12, 2007 Report From Jerusalem”] Hosea 5:15 stresses the need of true repentance. Abba waits for it. Hosea 6:6-7: “For I delight in loving kindness and not sacrificial offerings, and in the knowledge of Elohim more than in ascending offerings. But, like Adam, they transgressed the covenant. There they acted treacherously against Me”. We are all like Adam and Eve--rejecting His Presence for what satiates the flesh. Yet, Psalm 16:11 says this of Yahuweh: “You show me the path of life; in Your Presence is joy to satisfaction. At Your right hand are pleasures forever”. Excerpts from Hosea 7:1, 4, 7-11, 13-16: “You have wrought falsehood…All of them are adulterers…not one of them calls on Me. Ephraim mixes himself among the peoples…Strangers have devoured his strength, but he does not know it…And the Excellency of Israel did witness to his face, but they did not return to Yahuweh their Elohim, not did they seek Him for all this…they have called on Egypt and gone after Ashur…Woe to them, for they have strayed from Me. Destruction to them, because they have transgressed against Me! And I Myself have ransomed them, yet they have spoken falsehoods against Me and did not cry out to Me with all their heart…Their rulers fall by the sword for the cursing of their tongue…” Look at this! Ephraim wanted to be like the peoples of the nations, submitting to those who never knew Yahuweh. So, these “gentiles” – foreigners, strangers and aliens from the commonwealth of Israel have made slaves of them – and Ephraimites think they are prosperous and well-to-do, yet they are no more than slaves of their mind programmers.
Such is the lifestyle of the western world--slaves of man, slaves of debt to obtain what their carnal self desires, not knowing they are simply being toyed with by the agents of Lucifer! This is why in the Kingdom we’ll return to an agricultural society, when each man’s work Page 11 will be for his simple needs, and to bless the poor that Messiah will leave around Jerusalem. Ya’cob 4:4: “Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with Elohim? Whoever, therefore, who intends to be a friend of the world, makes himself an ENEMY of Elohim”. Do you consider yourself an enemy of Elohim? You are His enemy if you love this present world more than Him! What do you serve, or who? Is your god security, pleasure, comfort, social position, work advancement, or the acquisition of money? What are you living for? Are you laying down your life for His will, or your own? Falsehood – Ephraim loves to believe deceit, lies and falsehood.
The calling of the watchman--Hosea 8:1: “Put a shofar to your mouth, like an eagle against the House of Yahuweh because they have transgressed My covenant, and they have rebelled against My Torah”. The watchmen have faithfully warned the House of Israel, but very, very few have listened. Are you in anguish, grief, and repentance for the House of Ephraim – that a remnant will come forth who walks in the ways and nature of Yahuweh? This is the passion of His heart.
stalk had no bud, it yields no grain—Israel is swallowed up. They have now become AMONG the nations as a vessel in which is no pleasure. …Although they sold themselves AMONG the nations, this time I shall gather them...I have written for him numerous things of My Torah—they were regarded as strange…For Israel has forgotten his Maker and has built palaces…” To most of the world, Americans live in palaces. To those with very
little, who lay down their lives for the spreading of Messiah’s Good News, the materialistic idolatry of America is sinful. One day in Kenya as I went into a mud hut “kitchen” of some African believers, they asked me if the kitchens in America were like theirs. They cook on a “jiggo” (like a hibachi) on the floor, in the dirt. If their thatched roof kitchen burns down they just build another one. On another visit, I took the ladies a picture of a typical American kitchen, and they were stunned. To them we are all “filthy rich”. Most have never seen a computer, or know anything about “technology”, but they risk their lives to take the Good News of salvation to the lost. Who will be rewarded in the Kingdom? Ephraim thinks they are really big stuff--their pride is horrendous. But, in all of their gain, they are only grasping the wind. The word “vanity” means “to grasp the wind”. NO, it is not sin to have nice things, but when things control a person then its sin. If “things”, or people, are used as an excuse for not obeying the Master as a faithful servant, then it is sin! Ephraim is like a prostitute, whore, they give themselves for money and possessions, for food and clothes, for house and land, for car and security, and yet they are empty inside. They are shallow of thought. They lust to be entertained like a little toddler. The whore gives herself for what she can get. But, Ehraim, the whore, doesn’t realize that all of his acquisitions will soon merely like chaff before His whirlwind. Refer to the sins of Jeroboam in I Kings 12:26-33. The House of Ephraim, Israel/Ya’cob/Joseph, is still embracing those sins. While they might not bow down to a golden calf, or sacrifice to it, actually, still spiritually they do. Ephraim is still sacrificing their children to idols. Regarding the article “Gentle Sacrifice”--every day good parents in western culture, sacrifice their children on Satan’s altar because they are too busy satisfying their own lusts to be responsible to their children. People work themselves into illness and even death to obtain what the culture calls success--good social position, climbing up the corporate ladder, making more money, buying a bigger house, a more expensive car, promoting their children’s success, which is usually a pride issue--this is idolatry. Excerpts from Hosea 9:1,3, 4, 10, 13-17: “You have whored from your Elohim…They shall not dwell in the land of Yahuweh, but Ephraim shall return to Egypt and eat unclean food in Ashur…For their bread is for themselves, it does not come into the House of Yahuweh…I saw your fathers as the first fruits on the fig tree in its beginning. They themselves have gone after Ba’al Pe’or, and separated
themselves to shame, and become as abominable as that which they loved…I have seen Ephraim, like Tsor, planted in a pleasant place. But, Ephraim shall bring out his children to the murderers…All their evil in Gilgal, for there I have hated them. Because of the evil of their deeds I drive them from My house--no more do I love them. Ephraim has been stricken, their root has dried up. They yield no fruit…My Elohim rejects them, because they have not obeyed Him, so that they become wanders AMONG the nations”. This chapter holds much for us to look at. I wrote an article called “Yahuweh’s Ten Pattern of Judgment”. All of His judgments fall into ten categories. The final and most severe judgment was to cast us out of His land, and keep us out until He decides for us to return. Some Messianic people in Israel are trying to get Ephraim back into Israel as citizens, by trying to use political ploys. Forget it! “If Yahuweh does not build the house, they labor in vain who build it”. I really see that Yahuweh has allowed the modern nation of Israel to make laws restricting citizenship to only Jews who can prove their lineage to Judah. I worked with the Jewish Agency in Far East Russia, and I know how stringent their requirements for citizenship are. You might be shocked at my statement, but I say this because the House of Israel/the Ephramites are not ready to come back as a united ten-tribe unit. That will happen at the return of Messiah, after the resurrection. A small remnant is returning, but most of us have to go out every three months. Most who have ministries in Israel are Christians, or Christian Messianics. Israel needs those who really know Yahuweh and guard His Torah, yet are born from above by faith in Messiah Yahushua, who will love them and give them Truth from Him! Israel does not need any more religious people. They need life examples that will cause them to be “jealous” and want to know the real Messiah-Savior of Israel for themselves. The House of Ephraim has not repented! A remnant has asked forgiveness individually, but to repent for the ten tribes for their release from the nations—that is extremely rare. When we return to Yahuweh, there must be repentance with bitter tears for our sins, and for our embracing a counterfeit of He and His Messiah. Without repentance there is no salvation. Without repentance there is no returning to Yahuweh, either as an individual or as a tribe. Most have gone from Christianity to Messianic belief without repentance. They did not see their participation in Christianity as sin … embracing a counterfeit that rejects Yahuweh and His Torah and the Messiah of Israel who guarded Torah. There is very, very little
repentance in the House of Ephraim because of haughty self-righteous pride, or simple ignorance. The pride of Ephraim has to be brought totally down. They must be crushed and humbled. Then a purged remnant can return. What is Ba’al Peor? I hate to be nasty and tell it like it is, but I must. It is sexual perversion of the most disgusting kind--fascination with sex that involves feces. They became “as abominable with that which they loved” – it was an obsession with many. Its roots are from Ham, who delighted in sexual perversion. Today, this is a very common sexual perversion, along with related perversions such as sadomasochism. Our ancestors were guilty of these things openly. You see we have much to repent of--not just for our own sins, but for the sins of our forefathers that have been passed down to us today. The spirits that caused the House of Ephraim to sin so horribly are all around us. Without knowing it, we have participated in what He calls abomination. Just refer to my article “Joyful Abominations” for a few samples. Now the laws of the nation of Israel are holding back the great influx of Ephraim for the purposes of Yahuweh. He’s not ready yet for Ephraim to return. Ezekiel 37:15-28 is not yet!!! Ephraim still wallows with pigs, loving uncleanness. Ephraim is not broken yet-- they have not yet had their holocaust! Right now a lot of the House of Ephraim inside Israel are Christians, having no desire at all for the Elohim of Israel and His Torah. In fact, they try to convert Jews to Jesus, and then tell them they don’t have to obey the Torah of Yahuweh. Israel does not need Christian Ephramites, nor do they need prideful Messianics who are generally haughty against their Jewish brethren. Nor do they need prideful Ephraimite Messianica who are prideful against Judah. I long for the fulfillment of Isaiah 11:12-16, don’t you? Its close … Religion is twisted and distorted. Jewish Israel needs those who know the Elohim of Israel, who are humble and kind, who guard the Torah, and who love them! We clearly see how normally peaceful Arabs are being stirred up with lies and deceptions by their religious leaders and turning anger against Israel. In the same way, we see normally peaceful Americans being stirred up with lies and deceptions by their religious leaders, who are turning in anger against “Paul”, and against Messiah, against Jews and Israel, and against those who do not believe like they do. Craziness!
the fold, like a flock in the midst of their pasture, they being noisy because of men. The breach-maker shall go up before them. They shall break out and pass through the gate, and go out by it, and their king (House of David) pass before them, with Yahuweh at their head!” Proclaim this over ports, borders, gates, and land areas of exit from lands of exile and captivity. For as Yahuweh spoke to me in 2003: “All of My people outside My land are in captivity”. We must not love our captivity!!! Ephraim is still like Tsor--the New York of its day--the trading center of the world in its day. [Refer to: “NAFTA and the Ten Horns” for clarity, as well as Ezekiel 26-28, Isaiah 47, and Revelation 18] “Gilgal” – see Judges 2:1-6 – what is the sin of Gilgal? Are you guilty of it? Yes you are, and me too. Let Him show you how. The “Angel of Yahuweh” – Yahushua – speaking to the Israelites, telling them of Yahuweh’s anger at their disobedience in making covenant with the heathen, and not breaking down their idols and not obeying the mandate of Yahuweh for taking the land. So, the heathen, barbarians, gentiles have made fools of Yahuweh’s people, and slaves. Every time you compromise your obedience to Yahuweh in order to please your family, friends, work partners, church or congregation leader, or society as a whole, you’re guilty. Will you do as they did when they heard Yahuweh’s “Angel”? Judges 2:4: “And it came to be when the Angel of Yahuweh spoke these words to all the children of Israel that the people lifted up their voice and wept”. Excerpts from Hosea 10:1, 4, 12-13: “Israel is a degenerate vine—he brings forth fruit for himself...They have spoken words, swearing falsely in making a covenant. Therefore judgment shall spring up like a poisonous week in the furrows of the field…O Israel, you have sinned from the days of Gibah…Sow for yourselves righteousness, reap according to loving kindness, break up your fallow ground, it is time to seek Yahuweh until He comes and rains righteousness on you…You have ploughed wickedness, you have reaped unrighteousness, you have eaten the fruit of lying, because you rusted in your own way in your many mighty men”. What happened in Gibah? Gibah was in the area of Benjamin. Judges 19 tells us about the homosexuality there. It also tells of the insane cruelty of the people, for they had no leader. Our ancestors have been homosexuals, pedophiles, perverts, sadists, thieves, murders, extortionists, spouse beaters, children abusers, and everything else you can imagine, as well as being Satanists and servants of him. Daniel 9:3-6: “So I set my face towards Yahuweh Elohim to seek by Page 16 prayer and supplication, with fasting and sackcloth and ashes. And I prayed to Yahuweh my Elohim and made confession and said, `O Yahuweh, great and awesome El, guarding the covenant and loving kindness to those who love Him and to those who guard His commandments. WE have sinned and done wickedness, and wrong, and rebelled, to turn aside from Your commands and from Your right-rulings. And WE have not listened to your servants the prophets who spoke in Your Name…” He confessed His own sins as well as the sins that caused his people to go into exile. Daniel 9:20: “And while I was speaking and praying and confessing MY SIN and the sin of my people Israel…” then Gabriel came to him. Do you really want to know Yahuweh? If so, begin by repentance. Hosea 11: The crying passion of the heart of Yahuweh! Read Hosea 11 and Jeremiah 31 out loud. “When Israel was a child I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son…I taught Ephraim to walk, taking them by their arms, but they did no know that I healed them. I drew them with ropes of man, with cords of love…I bent down and fed them…they refused to repent! My people are bent towards backsliding form Me. Though they call on the One Above, none of them exalt Him.” My testimony: My life mirrors the history of Ephraim in its three main stages: From a child, Yahuweh came to me and taught me. I grew up preaching salvation and loving Him so much. My passion was for His Word and missionary work. As an adult, when the powers of darkness tried to destroy my mind and emotions, and even kill me many times, the spirit of the church against the Torah of Yahuweh began its work. I saw “God” as a cruel and sadistic god, who was responsible for all the hell in my life because He refused to deliver me. I did not know that I had tied His hands, so that He could not help me. I only knew Him as “God”. He watched as I rebelled to the maximum to get Him out of my life. I was married to a man who prided himself in being a warlock (male witch). I lived with insane torture of all types--mental, emotional, physical and sexual--a man totally possessed by demons, multiple personalities, homosexual, pedophile, perverted and sadistic to the max. He hated peace and joy and we spent our lives with constant upheavals. But, outside of home he was a Christian minister-- respected and honored. This is all too common in Christian ministry. We saw demons walking in our house, who threw things across the room and did very sadistic things to us. Instead of dealing with the situation, I turned in hate against the one Person that could have Page 17 helped me, not knowing who He was. I turned on “God” and told Him to get out of my life. I’ll never forget that night that I screamed for Him to get out. I then eagerly became a whore--doing anything I could to spite “God”—being as evil as I knew how to be. Then, when He was through watching me wallow in the pigsty, He gently and kindly restored me and brought me to Himself within a day. He said to me, as I returned to my first love--sharing the Savior’s love with people who had just witnessed a suicide-- “Welcome home”. Abba gave me a powerful dream, in which He showed me what I had done to myself because I did not know Him. I realized it was my own hand that had caused all the hell in my life. He showed me my own sin. With His help the bad would have been avoided. But, because of incredible naivety, loneliness, and insecurity and lots of fear, I let the deception run its full course. But, in Yahuweh’s love, He restored me to the prophetic calling He gave me, and began teaching me Himself. I shudder to think of what would have happened to me if I had died in that state of hate and rebellion. I would have gone to the lake of fire. I cry in thinking of His great mercy, to see what I would become with His help. My friends, everything is by His mercy and grace. Without His compassion and forgiveness, none of us would be “saved”. The deep hate that I carved for myself against Him, has become the deep cavern of love I have for my Daddy. My testimony is Psalm 40:1-4. I know the deep pit He took me out of. So, I have no pride. I only boast of Him. I am eternally grateful to the mercy of Abba. So it was, is, and will be, with Ephraim! I read Hosea 1:10 and always weep. I read Hosea 11:8-11 and always weep. This is me: Luke 7:47: “Therefore I say to you `her many sins have been forgiven, because she loved much. But, to whom little is forgiven, he loves little’ ”. Interesting that after my restoration to Him, He has put me on many 747 jets to go and do His will. I love Him so much that whatever He asks of me, I will do. Love means to submit totally to the one loved, therefore, “If you love Me, keep My commandments”. (John 14:15) Hosea 11:8-11: See page one… Here is the passionate cry of Yahuweh’s heart, and the promise of the restoration of the House of Ephraim from the west! That’s us--Americans, Canadians, United Kingdom people and Europeans … those of the west-of-Israel G-8 nations. Proclaim these Scriptures out over the seas, gulfs, airports, borders and gates of all types – for He will have a remnant that will be pure of heart. Excerpts from Hosea 12:1, 6, 8-9: “Ephraim is feeding on wind, and Page 18 pursuing an east wind. All the day he increases falsehood and ruin…Therefore return to your Elohim. Guard loving kindness and right ruling and wait on your Elohim continually…And Ephraim says, `Indeed I have become rich. I have found wealth for myself. In all my labors they shall find in me no wrong that is sin…’ ” Self-righteous Ephraim, justifying what he does, good or bad. The east wind is the destructive wind that brings famine. Ephraim loves deception and falsehood, and easily embraces them and propagates them. Again: Jeremiah 16:19. Excerpts from Hosea 13:1-4, 6-12, 15: “When Ephraim spoke there was trembling, he was lifted up in Israel. But, through Ba’al he became guilty, and he died. And now they sin more and more and make for themselves molded images from their silver, idols according to their skill, all of them the work of craftsmen…Therefore they shall be like a morning cloud…like chaff blown off from a threshing-floor. But, I am Yahuweh your Elohim since the land of Egypt and an Elohim besides Me you shall not know, for there is no Savior besides Me…They were satisfied and their heart was exalted, therefore they forgot Me. YOU HAVE DESTROYED YOURSELF O ISRAEL, but your help is from Me…I gave you a king in My displeasure but I took him away in my wrath…Though he bears fruit among his brothers an east wind comes, a wind from Yahuweh comes up from the wilderness, and it dries up his fountain…” Like myself, Ephraim lost their knowledge of the real Elohim of Israel and His orderly peaceful Torah. Their lives in the nations are confused. They lost their identity and became “lost sheep”. They were not lost to Yahuweh, nor to Judah up until the 70 AD dispersion of Judah, but to themselves. Like my own story, Ephraim’s destruction always comes from his own hand. Excerpts from Hosea 14:1-9: “O Israel, return to Yahuweh you Elohim, for you have stumbled by your crookedness. Take words with you and return to Yahuweh and say: `Take away all crookedness and accept what is good, and we render the bulls of our lips’…I shall heal their backsliding. I shall love them spontaneously, for My displeasure has turned away from Him. I shall be like the dew to Israel…What more has Ephraim to do with idols? It is I who answer and look after him…our fruit comes from Me…Who is wise and understand these words, discerning and knows them? For the ways of Yahuweh are straight, and the righteous walk in them, but the transgressors stumble in them”. “Bulls of our lips” speaks of the sacrificial offering of our repentance! Our offering to Him is death to self-will and submission to Him. Page 19 Ephraim is quick to point the finger to someone else—the “blame-game”. They are quick to make excuses for their own sin. Some just are so proud that they do not think they do anything wrong. Some think they are too good to “sin”. But, they are quick to judge others. Yahuweh says that He dwells with the humble and contrite--who “tremble at His Word” (Isaiah 66:1-2) Jeremiah 31:7-9: “Cry out, give praise, and say `O Yahuweh, SAVE YOUR PEOPLE, THE REMNANT OF ISRAEL!’ See, I am bringing them from the land of the north, and shall gather them from the ends of the earth…a great assembly returning here…For I shall be a Father to Israel and EPHRAIM—HE IS MY FIRST BORN. Hear the Word of Yhuweh O nations and declare it in the isles afar off and say `HE WHO SCATTERED ISRAEL GATHERS HIM, and shall guard him as a shepherd his flock’ ”. Genesis 48-49: Ephraim is the birthright holder of all the tribes, so the northern ten are named after him. Let us call for the restoration of Ephraim to his rightful position. I Chronicles 5:1-2: “As for the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel—he was the first born, but because he profaned his father’s bed, his birthright was given to the sons of Joseph, son of Israel, so that the genealogy is not listed according to the birthright, for Judah prevailed over his brother and from him came a ruler although the birthright was Joseph’s.” There you have it – from Judah came David and the Son of David. Judah has always been the scepter holder, the lead-tribe, the law giver. But, still, Ya’cob gave the birthright to Ephraim. Use the words of Jeremiah 31 and Hosea 11 to proclaim out over the seas to call Ephraim home. But, first repent, and repent for our forefathers, and humble yourself, and prepare for your own return. Go over the sins of Jeroboam and of the House of Ephraim and repent for yourself and for the ten tribes. Pray for Ezekiel 37:15-28 – for the tribes to be one nation again! Abba Yahuweh sees Ephraim “afar off” – Luke 15:20: “And having risen, he went to his father. And while he was still afar off, his father saw him and was moved with compassion and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him.” This is the love of Yahuweh and Yahushua.
