| 2.4.3 M. Phil / Ph.D.
The Selection of candidate for M. Phil/ Ph.D. Programme is made through an Entrance test followed by viva voce examination conducted by the concerned Departmental Research Committee (DRC).The candidates with satisfactory performance are selected for M. Phil/ Ph.D. Programme.
2.5. ACADEMIC CALENDAR
The following Academic Calendar prepared by the Institute and approved by the Senate, was notified for the students and staff. The Academic Calendar is prepared in such a way so that all the curricular, co-curricular, extra-curricular and other related activities/programmes of the students are well distributed over the semester period. The calendar was implemented successfully after some revision in case of autumn semester due to floods in September 2014.
