III.CONCLUSION 

The course paper is intended for English language students at Pedagogical 

Universities taking the course of English methodology and fully meets the 
requirements of the programme in the subject. It may also be of interest to all 
readers, whose command of English is sufficient to analyze how to teach listening 
in A1 level. By this course work, reader can get information about characteristics, 
features, types , the role of effective listening activities to teach A1 level learners. 
We can say that teaching listening skills is one of the most difficult tasks 
for any teacher. Successful listening skills are acquired over time and with lots of 
practice. It's rather complicated for students because there are no definite rules. 
Listening is the ability to identify and understand what others are saying. This 
involves understanding a speaker's accent or pronunciation, his grammar and his

vocabulary, and grasping his meaning An able listener is capable of doing these 
four things simultaneously. 
All the aim and tasks of the course paper are done during the research 
and overview of plans. All the tasks are presented above while writing the plans. 
We researched methodical literature, scientific articles, recent works of 
methodology scientist; using such methods as analyzing manuals, textbooks and 
books, educational magazines, training appliances, newspapers and of course to 
find out the latest and the most modern information we used internet. 
While working with such themed course paper, I have acquired a lot of 
information related my own theme. For example .it is essential to understand that 
listening is a crucial part of learning a new language. Listening allows students to 
understand and interpret the language being spoken, which in turn helps them to 
communicate effectively with native speakers. Teaching listening to low-level 
students can be challenging, but with the right methods and techniques, it can be 
an enjoyable and engaging experience.Listening should occupy an important place 
already at the initial stage. Developed listening skills make it possible to realize 
educational goals. It allows you to teach students to listen carefully to the 
sounding speech, to form the ability to anticipate the semantic content of the 
statement and thus, to develop a culture of listening not only in a foreign 
language, but also in their native language. Listening is also a powerful tool for 
teaching a foreign language. It makes it possible to master the sound side of the 
language being studied, its phonemic composition and intonation: rhythm, stress, 
melody. Listening makes it easier to master speaking, reading and writing, which 
is one of the main reasons for using listening as an important means of teaching a 
foreign language.
