The Government will provide an additional $32.0m to significantly increase grass roots sports participation at local, school and club level over the next four years. The ASC’s delivery of these increased levels of participation will be achieved in the main by replacing existing participation programs with an entirely new Active Australia partnerships strategy.
While this new Budget measure injects a further $32.0m over the next 4 years it brings to a total of $82m the amount available to achieve the Government’s Active Australia sports participation partnership outcomes for all Australians.
