OUTCOME 3 — CONTRIBUTION OF OUTPUTS
The ASC’s Sports Excellence outcomes reflect the Government’s commitment to record levels of funding to enable talented Australian athletes to pursue and achieve excellence in their chosen sport.
The ASC will ensure that Australian athletes excel at the highest levels of international competition. These sports excellence outcomes will be delivered in partnership with NSOs and State Institutes and Academies of Sport.
The ASC will continue to pursue the highest international standards for professional and technical development in sport science and coaching.
Justification for the choice of the output to achieve outcome 3 is described in Table
2.2.3. The Table provides information on the strategies chosen to deliver outcome 3, and shows the links between the output and the outcome.
