INTRODUCTION
Attention Grabber:
Not all of you may know Nina Dobrev but to people that watch the Vampire Diaries she has touched their hearts. When she fell in love you couldn’t help but love the couple and when she lost her family you wanted to cry too. Now she is moving on and leaving the Vampire Diaries family and fans in an apparently shocking season finale that has not been showed yet.

   First Major Point:
   

First I would like to give you some background on Nina. Her full name is Nikolina Konstantinova Dobreva. She was born on January 9, 1989 in Sofia Bulgaria but then moved to Toronto, Ontario in Canada at the age of two. She can speak fluent English and Bulgarian. Her parents’ names are Michaela Konstantinova and Konstantin Dobrev. Nina has one brother named Alexander Dobrev.

Secondly I would like to talk about what she has stared in. One of her first rolls was Mia Jones, a teen mom, in Degrassi: The Next Generation. You may have also seen her in Lets Be Cops where she played Josie, which Justin the “cop” liked. Nina also stared in The Perks of Being a Wallflower where she played the part of Candace. Nina is currently featured in The Vampire Diaries playing Elena Gilbert and her doppelgangers but has announced that she will be leaving after the sixth season ended. Nina has stared in multiple other small time movies such as The Roommate, The Final Girls and Never Cry Werewolf.

Thirdly I would like to talk to you about why she is leaving The Vampire Diaries. The main reason is because she was ready to “spread her wings” from the TV show and take on larger parts. She announced her departure on Instagram posting pictures from the cast trip to Lake Lanier. She said “I want to be the first to tell you that it wasn’t just a holiday party, it was a goodbye party. I always knew I wanted Elena’s story to be a six season adventure… I was a human, a vampire, and a doppelganger… was dead and undead and fell in love not once but twice.” She wrapped up her filming a few weeks ago, posting a video of her and Michael Trevino saying goodbye and a picture of her goodbye cake.

So now if you want to go watch the show season 1 through 5 is on Netflix because now that she is leaving I am probably going to have to watch her journey as a character and actor again. Even though Nina is leaving The Vampire Diaries, all of her fans will remember her as Elena Gilbert, a girl, a vampire and a doppelganger. Thank you.
