This contribution proposes support for late binding of IVs providing a lot of flexibility and security strength to segment encryption. Two new attributes, @ivUrl and @ivUrlTemplate, are proposed to provide this kind of support

This contribution proposes to include a URL template for deriving initialization vectors. At a price of one extra HTTP GET request per cryptoperiod or, at most, per segment, we receive the possibility of using randomly generated initialization vectors and efficient compatibility to the case where #EXT-X-KEY is used very frequently.
