LD MPEG Surround conformance for Low Delay AAC v2 profile

The contribution proposes to create new conformance data for the LD MPEG Surround tool that is used in the Low Delay AAC v2 profile.

It was the consensus of the Audio Subgroup to issue the file in the zip archive of the contribution as WD on 14496-26/AMD 3, “LD MPEG Surround conformance for Low Delay AAC v2 profile.”

Reference software for Low Delay AAC v2 profile

The contribution proposed a update to the reference software to provide scripts to decode the conformance streams and check the decoded output. This involves two software repositories (MPEG-4 and MPEG-D), and so involves more steps that in MPEG-4

It was the consensus of the Audio Subgroup to put the contribution’s scripts and tools into the DCOR on 14496-5.

Defect Report on ISO/IEC 14496-26

The contribution corrects an inconsistency between the 14496-3 profile and level definition and the 14496-26 conformance document.

It was the consensus of the Audio Subgroup to issue the proposed correction in a Defect Report on ISO/IEC 14496-26.
