There was a small break-out of Audio and Systems/DASH experts that drafted an outline of text to be added to DASH Part 3, Recommended Practice. Drafting the actual text will be an AhG activity.

Proposed corrections to MPEG-4 BSAC

The contribution notes that there are bugs in BSAC-related text and conformance bitstreams having do with signalling intensity stereo phase via stereo_info and ms_mask_present.
An additional bug is to fix the reference software so that there is only one random vector used in correlated PNS mode when decoding stereo signals.
Finally, it proposes to correct the PNS independent, correlated and out-of-phase configurations in the reference software.
The proposed changes affect text, conformance and reference software. The contribution contains the corrected conformance streams and the two files that must be corrected in the reference software.
