1Summary
The video subgroup held four plenaries – on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday to coordinate the work over the week, report and discuss the work of breakout groups, and at the end of the week, to approve documents and resolutions. Besides joint meetings, most other work was held in breakout groups on Reconfigurable Media Coding, 3D Video Coding (the largest group which met in the video plenary room when not needed for plenaries), Compact Descriptors for visual Search, and Internet Video Coding. Beyond that, dedicated groups of editors worked on producing texts for an AVC amendment and the working draft of Web Video Coding.
