The main work topics were:

Video Signature Tools: Review of Core Experiment results and issuance of a Study of FPDAM;

Image Signature Tools: Finalization of conformance;

Photo Player MAF: Finalization of conformance.
The main decisions on these subjects were as follows:

Video Signature Tools: The Study of FPDAM4 (N11085) adopts the following changes shown to be beneficial by Core Experiments:

Additional bags-of-words with improved matching precision
-
Multiple signatures for regions
-
Efficient binary representation
-
Visual XM version 38 (N11086) contains matching methods related to the technology of Amd.4. Normative elements that were put into the Study text were removed.

As the only remaining experiment in N11087, CE4 is retained, which is related to further improvements of the matching technology

For Image Signature Tools (15938-3/Amd.3), the related conformance amendment (15938-7/FDAM5 and related DoC (N11089/N11088) were issued. The tolerance specification problem previously commented on by the JNB was resolved – it was determined that by defining a tolerance of deviation in terms of the Hamming distance, the numeric precision of various computing platforms can be accomodated, whereas the matching precision is not significantly affected .

For Photo Player MAF (23000-3), FDAM2 for Conformance Testing and DoC (N11091/N11090) were issued as planned. All NB comments were accepted, though there was nothing of critical essence.
An AHG was appointed (N11118, as recorded in N11076) to further the work until the 92nd meeting.
