1MPEG-2 Video Support for 1080/50p/60p and MPEG-2 Part 2 Errata
Amendment 3 for MPEG-2 video (enabling a new level for 1080p 50 and 60 fps formats in main profile), as well as the associated conformance testing specifications were progressed to FPDAM. One minor issue related to inhibiting of interlaced tools in the new level specification was clarified, the conformance streams are announced to be provided after extensive testing.
Two minor issues related to a possible contradiction in the VBV buffer specification and a wrong formula for gamma transfer characteristics were reported in M15327 and M15445, respectively. A defect report was produced to clarify these issues in a future corrigendum or new edition.

Apparent contradiction in MPEG-2 Video VBV specification
Needs more clarification with other MPEG-2 experts (e.g. Aharon Gill). Not of highest urgency, keep this issue for any future corrigendum (defect report)

Sign error in two transfer characteristics equations
For MPEG-2, this would need a corrigendum on Amd.2 (values 9 and 10 of transfer characteristics were added there), This could eventually be fixed as editorial error when a new edition of MPEG-2 is made. Also put in defect report.
