A CfP was issued at the 96th meeting. At this meeting, test sequences were viewed and some parameters for viewing sequences on stereoscopic and autostereoscopic displays were updated. Various software tools for proponents to prepare for the test were updated and made available. Minor updates to the test procedure were agreed upon at this meeting: N12187 Update to test procedure for the Call for Proposals on 3D Video Coding.
About half of the 23 pre-registrations for the subjective test were based on AVC.
The adhoc group N12200 AHG on 3D Video Coding is in charge of preparing the evaluation.
