IPICS ANEC - AFRICAN NETWORK OF ELECTROANALYTICAL CHEMISTS http://www.isp.uu.se/what-we-do/chemistry/networks/anec/
Foster research activities in the field of electroanalytical chemistry among African scientists, Promote and encourage the use of electrochemical approaches in African basic science as well as it applications. Strengthen scientific cooperation between involved partners via student’s mobility, co-supervision of thesis and co-publication. Improve and optimize technologies for the preparation of low cost, non toxic and stable sensors and biosensors based on environmental control material. This point is essential to develop close cooperation between scientists working in this field by sharing experiences, equipment and scientific knowledge in other to support various projects in each country. Improve and optimize technologies for solid and liquid pollutant treatment and management using electrochemical approach Strengthen relationship with industrial societies for wastewater and solid waste treatment for environment control Increase scientific south to south exchange by supporting student mobilities and visiting scientists. This support will permit to young researchers to exchange views, experiences and information among the research workers in the fields of electrochemistry and derivative fields. It is also an opportunity to train junior workers especially postgraduate students at laboratories where proper facilities are available. Cooperate with scientists working in various fields of electroanalytical chemistry involving other environmental control. Organize seminars on electrochemical approaches and materials as an economic opportunity for Africa research Coordinator Network nodes/participants
