[57] Container for storing and making available stacked foil-like or sheet-like material (1) consisting of a tray (10) receiving the stacked materials with a bottom (11) and closed side walls (12-15) adjoining the bottom and a cover (30) which surrounds this said tray at least partly and closes it tightly, the cover being designed as a slide cover, the tray and the slide cover each having on both sides, parallel to their longitudinal direction (9), mutually parallel guide elements (21), all side walls of the tray having, facing the slide cover, a closed tray sealing surface (18) surrounding the tray opening (19), the fourth side wall (15) lying at the front in the sliding direction being designed in a curved shape as a removal lip, the slide cover gripping around at least partly or in regions three side walls (12-14) and the bottom or corresponding guide elements and two of said side walls being oriented parallel to the longitudinal direction, the slide cover being arched upward away from the tray and bearing on its inner side a stop web (35), the lower edge of which, from the front edge of the slide cover as far as the cover centre, descends – forming a stop – to below the tray sealing surface, and a cover sealing surface (48), which lies on the tray sealing surface when the container is closed, being designed in the slide cover.

[57] A Sabbath Switch Cover for retrofit installation in a kitchen appliance proximate an internal lighting system detent switch for selectively disabling or enabling an internal lighting system of a kitchen appliance by suppressing operation of its detent switch, comprising: a cover plate formed as a substantially rectangular frame having a top, a floor, a bottom opposite said floor, and a channel bisecting the top of said rectangular frame and opening to one end thereof, said channel being defined by opposing horizontally-oriented tracks, and a protruding stop inside said channel formed along the floor of said cover plate; a self-adhesive pad comprising a layer of adhesive material conforming to the bottom of said cover plate and fixedly bonded there beneath for self-adhesive application of said switch cover inside an appliance; said cover plate being adhered by said self-adhesive pad adjacent to and horizontally offset from an appliance detent switch; and a slide member conforming to the channel of said cover plate and slidably engaged by said horizontal tracks for slidable movement therein and horizontal extension therefrom over top of an appliance detent switch, said slide member having outwardly-protruding flanges for cooperation with the tracks of said channel, and a slide brake at one end for cooperation with the stop formed in the channel of said cover plate to prevent over-extension.
