The development feATURES of shoots and seedlings
of some MALUS MILL. species INTRODUCED on Absheron
The article presents data on seven species of apple trees that are introduced on Absheron. Studies were conducted at the Central Botanical Garden of NAS of Azerbaijan in 2007-2011. The article examined the morphology, the root system, leaves, shoots and seedlings during their development. Some of them are perspective for cultivation in the parks and gardens.
