Discuss the concept of length and how length is measured, examine pictures of buildings, have children stand back to back and discuss which/who is taller, do our own measuring experiment with cubes (counting) have kids break into pairs and mark their partner’s length on a large sheet of paper-collect as a group again and measure each childs’ height w/cubes.
