Livingston – Funeral services for Thomas Owen Booth, 91, of Livingston were held Wednesday, Nov. 11, 1992, from the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Frank Hood officiating. Interment followed in Bold Springs Cemetery. Mr. Booth died Nov. 8 at his residence. He was born June 25, 1901 in Athens, Texas, the son of John Sidney Booth and Clara V. Herren Booth. Mr. Booth worked as a planer foreman for Leggett Lumber Co. for many years. On Oct. 23, 1926, he married Janoda Kelley Booth. She preceded him in death on April 6, 1959. He was also preceded in death by a son, John Sidney Booth; brothers Glenn and Floyd Booth; and one sister, Viola Booth. Survivors include daughters, Juanita Reed of Point Blank and Joyce Rigby of Waco; son, Troy Booth of Livingston; brothers, Fred Booth and Billy Booth, both of Doyline, La.; grand-daughters, Mona Reed of Houston, Kay Lev of Rosenberg and Vickie Hartmann of Livingston; grandsons, Jan Rigby of San Antonio, Jeff Rigby of Dallas, Joel Rigby of Waco, Kevin Booth of Rosenberg and John Booth and Jody Booth, both of Livingston; 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends. Pallbearers were Stacey Smelley, Shannon Smelley, Tracy Smelley, Billy Ray Ogden, Darrell Parker and Ricky Roper. Cochran Funeral Home was in charge

of arrangements

LIVINGSTON -- Funeral Services for Troy Owen Booth, 64, of Livingston were held Tuesday, April 11, 2000, from the Cochran funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Frank Hood officiating. Interment followed in Bold Springs Cemetery. Military honors were provided

by VFW Post 8568. Mr. Booth died Saturday, April 8, in Memorial Medical Center, Lufkin. He was born September 3, 1935 in Rock Mount, La., the son of Thomas and Janoda Kelley Booth. He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Anneliese Hartmann; brothers-in-law Bob Rigby and Billy Ray Ogden; special friend Thomas McKelvey and brother John Sidney Booth. LIVINGSTON - Mike Bowen, 32 of Webster passed away July 9, 2004 at his residence. He was born January 8, 1972 in Livingston, Texas to Jimmy and Elaine Bowen. he was a resident of Webster for one year, formerly from Livingston. Mike was a Livingston High School graduate of 1990; he was a graduate of Stephen F. Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration where he was a member of Kappa Alpha Fraternity; a veteran of the US Navy and attended Highlands Baptist Church of La Marque. Mike is survived by his wife Heather Bowen of Webster, Mother and father Jimmy and Elaine Bowen of Livingston, grandparents Virginia Aubrey Hubert and Richard “Dick” Hubert of Livingston, sister Jill Bowen of Greeley, CO, mother and father-in-law John and Karen McLemore of La Marque, brother-in-law Paul McLemore of La Marque, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. A visit-ation will be Monday, July 12, 2004 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the chapel of the James Crowder Funeral Home, La Marque. The family will accept friends on Tuesday, July 13, 2004 at 9:00 am at the Cochran Funeral Home, in Livingston. Service will be Tuesday, July 13, 2004 at the Cochran Funeral Home, with Bro. Frank Hood officiating, burial to follow at Bold Springs Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Pallbearers will be Tre’ Oquin, Kent Saller, Rodney Watts, Jason Joice, Paul McLemore, Charles Orn, and Brandon Pearson. Honorary pallbearers will be Walter Wood, Steve McNeil, Cody Sears, David Bump, Cody Pinkard, Lyle Fattig, Trey Alvey and Chad Erb. Memorials may be made to the Make A Wish Foundation of the Texas Gulf Coast, Inc.

LIVINGSTON -- Carolyn Sue Watts Boyd, born July 19, 1943 in Livingston, died April 7, 2002 at her residence in Clear Lake. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cotton and Willie Watts, long-time residents of Livingston. She worked in banking and as a legal secretary in Houston, Clear Lake and Marble Falls. She was an active member of the Bay Area Tennis Club. She graduated from Livingston High School in 1961 and was a star basketball player for Miriam Young and the Livingston Lionettes. She was known as

someone with a sunny disposition who made friends wherever she lived. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dana and Dennis Moon and grandchildren, Taylor and Parker Moon of Katy; son, Brad Boyd of Kemah; three sisters and brother-in-law, Linda and Wade Wiener of Overgaard, Ariz., Juanell Munson of Pasadena and Betty Jo Anderson of

Houston; stepson, Sam Britt Boyd of Austin; stepson, Wesley Reed and stepdaughter, Laurie Reed of Beaumont; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services were held Thursday, April 11, at Bethel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Frank Hood and the Rev. Leonard Budro officiating. Burial followed in Bold Springs Cemetery in Livingston.

Pallbearers were Sam Boyd, Jay Stabler, Wade Wiener, Bob Hall, Dennis Moon, Sam Britt Boyd and Wesley Reed. Cochran Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
