Livingston – Funeral services for Robert Llewellyn Gay, 77, of Livingston were held Thursday, March 27, 1986 from the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. C. L. Moore officiating. Interment followed in Bold Springs Cemetery. Mr. Gay died March 24 in Livingston Memorial Hospital. He was born May 13, 1908 in Syracuse, N. Y., the son of Howard and Gertrude Lambert Gay. He married the former Stella Graham on February 22, 1930 in Camillus, N. Y... Survivors include his wife Stella Gay of Livingston; son, Perry R. Gay of Joplin, Mo; four daughters, Vera M. Olmslead of Wolcott, N. Y., Gail M. Miller of
Livingston, Roberta S. Bush of Canadaquia, N. Y., and Elizabeth S. Petrosino of Port Byron, N. Y.; two sisters, Helen Gay of Newqard, N. Y. and Thelma Lopez of Savannah, N. Y.; 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three nephews and two nieces. Pallbearers were Perry Gay, Aaron Gay, Howard Miller, Brian Gay, Lee Bennett, and Scott Anstee.
Cochran Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Livingston – Funeral services for Leo P. Goertz, 63, of Livingston will be held at
11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 26, 1996, from the Pace Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. David
Orban officiating. Interment will follow in Bold Springs Cemetery. Mr. Goertz died
Friday, Feb. 23, in Houston. He was born Oct. 6, 1932 in Goessel, Kan., the son of Peter
I. Goertz and Elizabeth Schmidt Goertz. He grew up and graduated from high school in
Goessel. His family were Mennonites. During his working career, he worked in the construction field and the logging industry. He moved to Polk County, where he was a contract log cutter from 1958 until 1993. On Oct 26, 1958 he married the former Eddie Ruth Baker in Livingston. Mr. Goetz spent the last two years as a machinist. He loved to farm; it was his passion. His tractor’s name was Elmer. He had been a member of the World Wide Church of God since 1956. Mr. Goertz was preceded in death by his father, Peter I. Goertz, and one sister, Helen Pope. Survivors include his mother, Elizabeth Schmidt Goertz of Livingston; wife, Eddie Ruth Goertz of Livingston; three sons, Samuel D. Goertz and wife
Gretchen, Gregory M. Goertz and wife Susie, and Ronald L. Goertz and wife Karen, all of Livingston; two brothers, Emory Goertz and wife Marlene of New Mexico and Harry Goertz of Indiana; two sisters, Betty Palazzo and husband Anthony of Ohio, and Caroline Davignon of Kansas; five grand-children, James, Heidi, Geofrey, Grant and Kayla Goertz, all of Livingston; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
Pace Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

LIVINGSTON – Funeral services for Pearl Walker Graef, 91, were held Saturday, Jan. 28, 2006, in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, with Father Clifton Labbe officiating. Burial followed in Bold Springs Cemetery. Mrs. Graef died Thursday, Jan. 26, {2006} at her residence in Livingston. She was born Jan. 22, 1915 in Livingston, the daughter of Berry
and Emma Martin Walker. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Graef;
her parents; brothers, Raby Walker and Ben Lewis Walker and sister, Minnie Ola Kremer. Survivors include her sister, Alma Pogue of Carlisle and niece, Melva Whitehead of Bedford.
