LIVINGSTON – Funeral services for Eva Louise Haynes, 51, of Livingston were held Wednesday from the Pace Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. John Harlen officiated, assisted by the Rev. C. L. Moore. Interment followed in Bold Springs Cemetery.Mrs. Haynes died Monday in Diagnostic Hospital, Houston. She was born March 9, 1932 in Flint, Mich., the daughter of the late Albert Nemitz and Mrs. Virginia Betsy Nash. She spent her early childhood in the city of Flint and attended public school in that area. She was married on Aug. 5, 1947 in South Bend, Indiana to Kenneth Eugene “Bud” Haynes. To this marriage was born four children, who survive. In 1948 she moved to Livingston and later resided in Houston. She returned to Polk County in 1973 and has lived in the Onalaska area for the past 10 years. Mrs. Haynes was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Eugene “Bud” Haynes of Onalaska; her mother, Mrs. Virginia Betsy Nash of Flint, Mich.; three daughters, Carolyn Marie Burnett of Conroe, Peggy Ann Kennedy of Onalaska and Janet Sue Jackson of Houston; one son, Kenneth E. Haynes Jr. of Onalaska; two sisters, Ann Marie Smith and Beverly N. LaVave, both of Flint, Mich.; three brothers,

Douglas Nemitz, David Nemitz and Kenneth Nemitz, all of Flint, Mich.; five grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Pallbearers were Richard Tierney, Leon Ognouski, Cecil Loper, Joe Lucas, Tony Levondousky and Dick Tierney.

Pace Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.

LIVINGSTON - John Gerald Haynes born August 14, 1935 in Livingston, Texas passed away January 7, 2009 in Trinity, Texas at the age of 73 years.  John is survived by his wife of 42 years, Opal; sons, John Haynes, Gerald Guy Haynes and wife Brandi, step-daughter, Kathy Odom and step-son, Max Odom; sister, Billie Jean Tierney, 7 grandchildren, 4 step-grand children, 5 great grand children.  Pre-ceded in death by step-son Mickey Buck Odom and brothers, Leonard Guy Haynes, Kenneth Eugene Haynes and sister Mary Lou Lucas.  A celebration of John’s life will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 10, 2009 at Bold Springs Cemetery with Pastor Frank Hood of Soda Baptist Church officiating.

Livingston – Funeral services for Kenneth E. “Bud” Haynes, 69, of Onalaska will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 20, 1995 from the Pace Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Frank Hood officiating. Interment will follow in Bold Springs Cemetery. Mr. Haynes was born May 25, 1925 in Polk County and died Friday morning, March 17, at his residence in

Onalaska. He attended school in the New Willard, Livingston and Onalaska schools. He

then entered the U. S. Navy and rough-necked in Michigan. Mr. Haynes married the former Eva Lou Nemitz in Michigan, moved back to Polk County, and has lived here ever since. His hobbies were hunting and fishing. Survivors include his son, Kenneth Eugene Haynes Jr. of Livingston; daughters and son-in-law Carolyn and John Burnett of Conroe, Peggy and James Kennedy of Livingston, and Janet Jackson of Houston; mother, Rosa Alice Haynes of

Onalaska; brother, John Gerald Haynes of Onalaska; sisters, Billie Jean Tierney of Houston and Mary Lou Lucas of Onalaska; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Mr. Haynes was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Lou Haynes; father, Leonard Guy Haynes Sr.; and brother, Leonard Guy Haynes Jr. Pace Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

LIVINGSTON - Kenneth Eugene Haynes Jr., 45, died Sunday, May 4, 2003 at his residence in Onalaska. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 8, from the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Steven Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Bold Springs Cemetery. He was born Nov. 18, 1957 in Sulphur, La., the son of Kenneth Eugene Haynes Sr. and Eva Lou Nemitz Haynes Sr., both of whom preceded him in death. He married Jona Haynes on Nov. 17, 1988 in Livingston. He loved hunting, fishing and the outdoors. Survivors include his wife, Jona Haynes of Livingston; stepson Steven Bardner of Onalaska; sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy and Jay Kennedy of Livingston, Janet Jackson of Onalaska and Caroline and Johnny Burnett of Conroe, sisters-in-law, Lynda Robinstein and Sherrie Franklin, both of Onalaska; aunts, Billie Jean Tierney of Willia and Opal Haynes of Onalaska, uncle, John Gerald Haynes of Houston; nephew, Duke Kennedy of Willis; nieces, Misty Ganzer of Katy, Melissa Soules of Conroe, Ashley Lawrence of Livingston and Casay Lawrence of Livingston; cousins, Rosemary Tierney of Willis, Richard Tierney of

Houston, Eileen Tierney of Houston and Sue and Bob Whitecotten of Indiana and

LIVINGSTON – Funeral services for Jona Elaine Bell Haynes, 44, were held

Saturday, June 7, 2003, from the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, with the

Rev. Harold Isaacs officiating. Burial followed in Farley Chapel Cemetery

in Shepherd. Mrs. Haynes died Thursday, June 5, in Memorial Medical Center – Livingston. She was born Jan. 28, 1959 in Jacinto City, the daughter of

Malcomb and Dorothy Christian Bell. Survivors include her mother, Dorothy

Dieinger of Lufkin; stepfather, Ray Maxwell of Lufkin; son, Steven Gardner;

sisters, Lynda Robinstein of Onalaska and Sherrie Franklin of Livingston;

nieces, Ashley Lawrence and Casey Lawrence, both of Livingston and brothers,

Ray Allen Bell and Donnie Everett.
