LIVINGSTON – Funeral services for Bonnie Martin Watts, 84, of Livingston were held

Friday Jan. 23, 1987 from the Pace Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Orval Barger and the Rev. Frank Hood officiating. Interment followed in Bold Springs Cemetery in Bold Springs, TX. Mrs. Watts was born Dec. 14, 1902 in Cut ‘N’ Shoot, TX, in Montgomery

County to J. R. Martin and Carrie Thomas Martin. Mrs. Watts and her family moved to

Livingston when she was 11 years old. She married the late Arthur Weldon Watts on

Dec. 28, 1928. They had one child, who survives. Mr. Watts preceded her in death on

Dec. 8, 1952. Mrs. Watts was a member of the First Baptist Church of Livingston.

She died Jan. 22 in Livingston Memorial Hospital. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Rose Marie Brame of Livingston; son-in-law, James Brame of Livingston; sister, Hortense Phillips of Goodrich; two grandsons, Jerry Brame and Bobby Brame, both of Livingston, three great-grandchildren, all of Livingston, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers were Wallace Turner; R. C. Martin; Jasper Wilkerson, Dickey Phillips, Kenneth Bond and Harlan Camp. Pace Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

LIVINGSTON – Funeral services for Bryan Watts, 72, of Livingston were held Tuesday, September 22, 1998, from the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Smith and the Rev. Doyle Hodge officiating. Interment followed in Bold Springs Cemetery. Mr. Watts died Sunday, September 20, in his residence in Livingston. He was born Feb. 20, 1926, in Paducha the son of Cecil A. and Jodie Helen Rogers Watts. Mr. Watts had been employed in a wastewater plant operation. On Feb. 26, 1953 he married the former Veda Dubois. Survivors include his wife, Veda Watts of Livingston; sons, Mike Watts and wife Barbara of Livingston, and Bobby Watts of Plano, daughters, Delda Barfoot and husband Bobby of Union, Miss. and Margaret Landreth of Tomball; granddaughter Dana Watts Placker and husband Eric of Livingston; grandson Mike Watts, Jr. of Livingston: sister Earline Payne of Livingston; sister-in-law Frances Watts of Oakwood, a host of nieces and nephews; and special friends Adrena and Alyssa Jo, Darwon, Brenda, Loretta and Andy, the

Rev. and Mrs. John Butler and the church family of South Liberty; Midway Community Church family, Walnut Grove Baptist Church family of Walnut Grove, Miss., Wildwood Gospel Church family of Onalaska, Beech Creek Church family, Jimmy and Mona Cassity and Mary Placker. His first great-grandchild is expected in November. Pallbearers were Darwon Evans, Lynn Hendrix, Charlie Woodard, Wesley Smith, Ricky Thigpen and Glenn Evans. Honorary pallbearers were Sam and Joyce Patterson, Dempsey and Vivian Hickman, Byrd and Irene Patterson, Jimmy and Mona Cassity and Ray and Wathine Evans.

LIVINGSTON - Funeral services for Albert Gleason Watts, 71, a lifetime resident of

Polk County, were held at 4 p.m. Sunday in First Baptist Church in Livingston with

the Rev. Donald White officiating, assisted by the Rev. Charles Vance. Burial followed in Bold Springs Cemetery directed by Pace Funeral Home. Mr. Watts died April 20, 1973 at Polk County Hospital. Born March 15, 1902 in Bold Springs, he was the son of the late Arthur Thomas and Fannie Mae Watts. He received his education in the Bold Springs Grammer School and Livingston High School. He continued his education for a year at

A & M College at Bryan. He was married to Miss Annie Lenora Monroe Dec. 24, 1927, in Livingston. He was engaged in the mercantile business in this community his entire life. He was a member of First Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Annie Lenora Watts of Livingston; a daughter, Mrs. Joyce Malone of Livingston; a daughter, Mrs. Hamilton Watts of Nederland; a sister, Mrs. Troy Bond of Livingston; two brothers, Nolan Watts of Livingston and

A. T. Watts Jr. of Pasadena; and 12 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Emory Watts, Gene Bond, Kenneth Bond, Franklin Fawbush, Larry McIntyre and Jimmie Monroe.
