Livingston – Funeral services for Billy Wayne Chennault, 62, of Livingston were
held Thursday, June 17, 1993, from the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev.
Royce Pennington officiating. Interment followed in Bold Springs Cemetery. Mr.
Chennault died June 15, at his residence. He was born Feb. 5, 1931 in Lamar County,
the son of Walter and Flossie Chennault. Mr. Chennault worked as a produce manager
for many years. He was a member of Central Baptist Church. On June 15, 1948 he
married the former Willie Mae Barber in Paris, Texas. Mrs. Chennault preceded him in death of April 8, 1990.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Wayne and wife Jessie Chennault of Houston and Rodger Dale and wife Edi Chennault of Springdale, Ark.; two daughters, Patti and husband Wayne Kilough of Livingston and Amber Chennault of Livingston; two sisters, Bertha Ray and Margie Walker, both of Paris; five grand-children and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers were James Buckner, Sam Ross, David Kennedy, David Chennault, Shane Walker and Paul Walker. Cochran Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Interment followed in Bold Springs Cemetery. Mrs. Chennault died April 8 at her residence in Livingston. She was born Dec 22, 1932 in Beardstown, TX, the daughter of Claude Barber and Birdie Carico Barber. On June 15, 1948 in Paris, Texas
she married Bill Chennault. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Livingston. Survivors include her husband, Billy Wayne Chennault of Livingston; two sons and daughters-in-law. Michael Wayne and Jessie Chennault of Houston and Roger Dale and Karen Chennault of Nacogdoches; daughter and son-in-law, Patti W. and Wayne Kilough
of Livingston; brother Red Barber of Brazoria; granddaughter and adopted daughter, Amber
Chennault of Livingston; grand-daughters Rachel Chennault of Houston and Courtine Chennault of Nacogdoches, and grandson Marshall Chennault of Houston. Pallbearers were James Buckner, James Henthorn, Sammy Rosa, John Cain, Ron Farrar and Roy Johnson. Dock Cannon was an honorary Pallbearer. Cochran Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Livingston – Funeral services for Clifford Dale Childers, 68, of Leggett were held Wednesday, June 9, 1993, from the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed in Bold Springs Cemetery. Mr. Childers died June 7 in Woodland Heights Hospital, Lufkin.
He was born Dec. 22, 1924 in Westfield, the son of Clifford T. Childers and Mary Baker Childers. On March 17, 1948 he married the former Erna Kasner in Westfield. Mr. Childers served in the U. S. Marines during World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 132 in Humble. Survivors include his wife, Erna Childers of Leggett; son, Kenneth Childers of Crosby; daughter, Karon Bennett of Leggett; sister, Dixie Becker of Metairie, La.; grandsons, Kenneth Childers Jr. of Crosby and Jason Bennett of Leggett; granddaughters, Sammi D’Ann Childers of Crosby, Vicki Bennett of Leggett
and Lesli Bennett of Leggett. Pallbearers were Billy Ezernack, Carrell Gilmore, Robert Gilmore, Norby Reed, Lester McAlexander, Aaron Strickland and Pete Baty.

LIVINGSTON – Funeral services for John Clavette, 63, of Livingston were held Tuesday, March 17, 1998 from the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Royce Pennington officiating. Interment followed in Bold Springs Cemetery. Mr. Clavette died Saturday, March 14 in Livingston. He was born May 19, 1934 in Pittsfield, Mass., the son of Armand B. and Irene M. St. Denis Clavette. He was a veteran of the Merchant Marines, was
a cook and was employed with Crowley Towing. On Nov. 26, 1976 he was married to the former Bettie Burgi. Survivors include his wife Betti Clavette of Livingston; brother Hank

LIVINGSTON - Funeral services for Tom Jim Cobb, 40, were held Thursday morning in Pace Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Edward Henderson officiating, assisted by the Rev. Joe Knighton. Burial was in Bold Springs Cemetery. Mr. Cobb died Monday in the Veterans Hospital in Houston after a lengthy illness. A native of Louisiana, he was born July 14, 1933 near Selma, the son of Cenas and Maxine White Cobb. He attended school at Selma and served with the U. S. Navy during the Korean conflict. Since his discharge in 1959, he had worked in the oil fields. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church. Survivors include his wife, Nonnie Bell Hilton Cobb of Livingston; his father, Cenas Cobb of Ory Prong, La.; three sons, Thomas and Larry Cobb of Louisiana and Jim Cobb of Livingston; four daughters, Mrs. Linda Warren of Ball, La., Maxine and Laura Cobb of Louisiana and Tammy Elizabeth Cobb of Livingston; two brothers, Charles Cobb of Louisiana and Carl Cobb of Houston; and three

LIVINGSTON – Services were held from the Chapel of Pace Funeral Home Sunday for Frank Norman Cockerham, 73, who died October 7, 1978. The Rev. C. L. Moore officiated. Interment was in Bold Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers were Howard Denham, Joe Denham, Jr., Herbert Hurd, Jr., Stevie Denham, Dennis Cockerham, Roy Munson, Jack Townley and Don Strickland. Honorary pallbearers were L. C. Moore, Herbert Brader, John Whisenhant and Buster Denham. Cockerham was born to Jim and Lula Mae Hopkins Cockerham. A native of Oklahoma, he was born near Davis. While very young he moved with his family to Texas and Hardin County. He received his education in Hardin County public schools. The family moved to Polk County in 1916 and farmed in various parts of the county.
Cockerham worked in the shipyards during World War II and later was employed by the Galveston Cotton Compress in Galveston. After this employment, he lived briefly in Polk County and in Livingston. At the time of his death he had made Huntsville his home. Cockerham was a member of the Baptist church. Survivors include a brother, Herman Cockerham of Houston; two sisters, Mrs. Melissa Denham of Livingston and Mrs. Edna
Hurd of Houston; and a number of other relatives and friends.
