LIVINGSTON – Funeral services for Mrs. Della V. Bandy, 99, of Livingston were held Friday, Dec. 20, 1985 from Pace Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Orval Barger officiating. Interment followed in Bold Springs Cemetery. Mrs. Bandy died Dec. 18 in

Burmont Nursing Center in Livingston. She was born Jan. 25, 1886 in Waldron, Ark., the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. R. I. Edwards. She attended public school in the Waldron community. On Jan 27, 1906 she married the late James Thomas Bandy in Bates, Ark. He preceded her in death in 1930. They had six children, two of whom survive. Mrs. Bandy moved to Polk County in 1929 and had lived in Livingston the past 56 years. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Livingston. At the time of her death, she was a little over a month away from her 100^th birthday. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Marie Palermo of Livingston; one son, Ray Bandy of Livingston; daughter-in-law, Essie Mae Bandy of Livingston; grandchildren, Susan Woodey of Lorena, TX, Jeanne Gunn of Germany, Bill Woodey and John David Woodey, both of Lorena, TX, and Shannon Gunn of Germany. Pallbearers were Ed Harrison, Edwin Carler, Lawrence Richards, Charlie B. Milliken, Harlan Camp and Casey Wallace. Pace Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

LIVINGSTON – Graveside services for Samuel Boyd “Sam” Barnett, 80, will be held at

2 p.m. Sunday, October 21, 2001, from Bold Springs Cemetery, with Valerie Johnson officiating. Mr. Barnett died Thursday, Oct. 18, at his residence in Onalaska. He was born April 11, 1921 in Honey Grove, the son of Jefferson and Elvira Burkett Barnett. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Earl Barnett. Survivors include his son, Ronnie Boyd Barnett of Livingston; daughter, Penny Darling of Onalaska; son, Corbett Lee Jones

of Lovelady; granddaughters, Dottie Ilene Barnett of Onalaska, Crystal Gayle Darling of Onalaska, Michelle Lynn Darling of Onalaska and Valerie Johnson of Onalaska; grandson, Chalon Boyd Barnett of Missouri; great-grandchildren, Brittany, Ashley, Bryan, Scott, Brianna, Cody and Michael; and sisters, Maddie Jones of Wisconsin and Frances Maroney

of Honey Grove. Pallbearers will be Timothy Shaffer, Justin Strain and Joseph Moon. Cochran Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Livingston – Graveside services for Samuel Earl Barnett, 29, of Livingston were held Monday, July 13, 1992, from Bold Springs Cemetery, with Corbett Lee Jones officiating.

Mr. Barnett died July 11, in Polk County Memorial Hospital. He was born July 22, 1962

in Honey Grove, Texas, the son of Samuel Boyd Barnett and Dorothy Jean Nipp. Survivors include his father, Sam Boyd Barnett of Livingston; two brothers, Ronnie Boyd Barnett of

Livingston and Corbett Lee Jones of Paris, Texas; three sisters, Penny Darling of Onalaska, Linda Brown of Odessa and Elaine Moore of Odessa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
