Livingston – Funeral services for Laverne O’Neill, 85, of Livingston were held Friday, Jan. 6, 1995, from Bethel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Donald White officiating. Interment followed in Bold Springs Cemetery. Outreach provided the music. Mrs. O’Neill died Tuesday Jan. 3 in Cleveland Regional Medical Center. She was born Dec. 27, 1909 in Oak Flat, the daughter of N. M. Holleman and Geneva Glasscock. On June 3, 1928 she married Frank O. Neill Sr. in Liberty. Mrs. O’Neill was active in church work and community activities as long as her health allowed. Survivors include daughter, Peggy O’Neill and husband Jimmy of Livingston; son, Frank O’Neill Jr. and wife Ruth of Livingston; sister, Dorothy Barnett and husband Bubo of Nacogdoches; brothers-in-law, Jack O’Neill and wife Deedie of Leggett and Arnold O’Neill and wife Lydia of Goodrich; grand-children, Jimmy Harris Jr., Holly Phillips, Angela Vickery, Debra Flores, Gary O’Bannon, Steve O’Bannon, Robin Malac and Kevin Cannady; 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Jimmy Harris Jr., David Phillips, Sidney O’Neill, Kenneth Baker, Kevin Cannady and Drew Littleton. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Livingston volunteer Fire Department; men of Bethel Baptist Church, Little Beaver Equipment Co. employees and nephews. Cochran Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

LIVINGSTON – Funeral services for Sheri Lynn O’Neill, 20, of Livingston were held Sunday, May 1, 1988 from Central Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Kennedy officiating. Interment followed in Bold Springs Cemetery. Miss O’Neill died Saturday, April 30 in Livingston.

She was born May 18, 1967 in Livingston, the daughter of Frank Bennett O’Neill and Margaret Ann Turner O’Neill Tyler. She graduated from Livingston High School in 1985 where she was a high school cheerleader, a member of the Leo Club, Spanish Club and was an honor student. She attended Angelina College, Sam Houston State University and Continental Airlines Flight Attendant School, where she graduated as a flight attendant

in 1987. She was a member of Central Baptist Church. Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Margaret and Jack Tyler of Livingston; father and step-mother, Frank and Ruth O’Neill of Livingston; two sisters, Angela O’Neill of Livingston and Debra Tyler of Huntsville; grandmother, Laverne O’Neill of Livingston; aunt and uncle Betty and LeRoy Ladish of Kingwood; aunt and uncle, Peggy and Jimmy Harris of Houston; step-grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Tyler of Rogers and Mrs. Hattie Watson of Livingston; and numerous other relatives and friends. Pallbearers were Kevin David, Dude Cochran, Richard Powell, Stanley Peters, Doug Ferguson, Matt Floyd, Bryan Henry, Russell Howard, Mack

McLendon, Stephen Puckett, Ray Worthy, Pete Christmas, Todd Dickens, Byron Lyons, John McClain, Steven Wood, Lynn Lemons, Mike Baker, Rick Bender, Leon Middleton and Kevin Wood.

Livingston – Graveside services for Beulah Myrtle Hand O’Quinn, 92, of Livingston were held Tuesday, Aug. 31, 1993, from Bold Springs Cemetery, with Bro. Frank Hood officiating.

Mrs. O’Quinn died Aug. 30 in Bur-Mont Nursing Home, Livingston. She was born June 15, 1901, the daughter of William Gains and Willie Ann Nix Hand. She grew up in Nacogdoches and, at the age of 17, moved to Hull to take care of her invalid sister, Winnie Anderson. She married John Paul O’Quinn in Hull-Daisetta in 1932. After her marriage she continued to care for her sister until her sister’s death. Mr. O’Quinn preceded his wife in death in 1952. Mrs. O’Quinn moved to Polk County over 20 years ago and made it her home. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and seven brothers and sisters. Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Earl Owens, 60, sister of Louis Burnett of Livingston, were held Sunday afternoon in the Pace Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. C. L. Moore officiating. Burial was in the Bold Springs Cemetery. Mrs. Owens, a resident of Houston for the past 10 years died last Thursday. She was born Oct. 3, 1914 at Votaw, the daughter of Alec and Alzenie Teel Burnett. In 1940 she was married to Delbert Lee Owens. She was a

telephone operator and worked in several cities, including Votaw, Beaumont, Houston and in the state of Washington. She was a member of the Baptist Church. In addition to the brother of Livingston, survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Ann Welch of Paulsbo, Wash.; another brother, Foster Burnett of Missouri City, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Lois Eason of League City, Mrs. Mittie Zoleski of Galveston and Mrs. Judine Radke of Port Neches; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers were Roland Wilder, Kenneth Finch, Louis Maxwell, Tommy Wilder, N. C. Buller and Melvin Radke.
