LIVINGSTON – Funeral services for Crystal Elaine Rester, 16, of Livingston were held

Monday, Oct. 8, 1990 from the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, with the Ref. Wilkey

officiating. Interment followed in Bold Springs Cemetery. Miss Rester died Saturday,

Oct. 6, following a vehicle accident. She was born Nov. 13, 1973 in Bellville, Texas, the daughter of Harris Olin Rester Jr. and Frances Steinocher Rester. She attended

Livingston High School. Survivors include her mother, Frances Rester of Livingston;

father, Harris Rester of Clute; sister and brother-in-law, Madonnia Lynn and Jerry Busby

of Rye; stepfather, Robert Shupak of Rye; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Barton of

Onalaska; grandmother, Clara Rester of Lolita, Texas; step-grandmother, Johnny Shupak

of Industry, Texas; great-grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Leon Barton of Clute; niece,

Samantha Lynn Busby of Rye; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Shannon Bass, Chance Tarnow, Billy Stanley, Bo Jones, Victor Vega

and William Shaw. Cochran Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

LIVINGSTON – Funeral services for Edward Evans Rice, 71, of Livingston were held Monday, Dec. 3, 1990 from the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. John Stewart officiating. Interment followed in Bold Springs Cemetery. Mr. Rice died Dec. 1 in a Houston hospital. He was a retired welder and a U. S. Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Myrtle Rice {Myrtle Ione Johnson} of Livingston; three sons, Richard Edward Rice of Livingston, Gary Douglas Rice of Spring and Ronald Keith Rice of Maud; daughter, Norma Carol Murphy of Tomball; sister, Bonnie Ruth Bolton of Amarillo; brother, I. B. “Jack” Rice of Corpus Christi; 10 grand-children and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were A. C. Johnson, Thurston Thornton, Alfred Hallmark, Brooks Johnson, Dudley Blissit and James Burnip.

Cochran Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Livingston – Funeral services for Tony Allen Rice, 37, were held Saturday, Dec. 31, 1994, from the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Orval Barger officiating. Interment followed in Bold Springs Cemetery. Mr. Rice died Dec. 28 in Livingston.

He was born Jan. 15, 1958 in Pasadena, the son of Charles Allen Rice and

Carolyn Jeanette Parker. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Carolyn and Lloyd Davis Jr. of Livingston; brothers, David Fain of Pine Bluff, Ark., Harold Fain of Lufkin,

Tommy Fain of Livingston and James Fain of Lufkin; grandparents, W. L. and Margie Neely of Benton, Ark.; and nephews, Casey and Christopher Fain. Pallbearers were Eddie Davis, Jimmy Davis, Harold Davis, Craig Wright, Wayne McClung and Lance Cart.

Cochran Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Mrs. Nora Elizabeth Richardson, 77, were held Saturday, June 5, at First Baptist Church in Hull with Rev. David Elliott and Rev. E. A. Hendricks officiating.

Burial was in Bold Springs Cemetery in Polk County. Funeral arrangements were handled by Allison Funeral Services in Liberty. Richardson was born Jan. 1, 1898 to Mr. and Mrs. George Whisenhant in Blanchard. Her death on June 3 was the result of a heart attack.

She had made her home in Hull for the past 55 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors are her husband, J. P. Richardson of Hull; three sons, George E. Richardson and James P. Richardson, both of Hull, Charles R. Richardson of Beaumont;

11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Don Stevens, W. G. Shivers, Jack Deckert, James Abraham, Gregg Shivers, Curry Pruett and Pete Campbell.
