LIVINGSTON – Ryan Lee “Smiley” Riddle, 22, of Livingston died unexpectedly in an
automobile accident on June 26, 1998. He was born May 27, 1976 in Houston. He grew
up in Livingston and graduated in 1994 from Livingston High School. He attended Stephen
F. Austin State University and Angelina Junior College. He lived in Richmond and worked
for Houston Lighting and Power. He was engaged to be married on Nov. 14, 1998 to Kelly
Dawn Oliver. Survivors include his parents, Jimmy and Carolyn Riddle of Livingston;
his fiancé, Kelly Oliver of Livingston; sister, Shannon Janek and husband Kyle of Houston;
brother, Jason Riddle and wife Julie of Richmond; sister, Deni Pietsch and husband David
of Rosenberg; nephews, Devon, Dalton, Dillon and Dayton Pietsch of Rosenberg; grand-
parents, Helen Riddle and the late Alvis “Buddy” Riddle of Livingston, Ruth Dillon and the
late Matt Dillon of Las Vegas, and the late Alfred P. Wilbois of Houston; aunts and uncles,
Bill and Ann McDougal and family of Houston, Rocky and Linda Riddle and children of
Houston, Robert and Sharlot Riddle and children of Sugarland, David and Vicki Riddle
and children of Katy, and John and Leslie Wilbois and children of Houston; and many,
many friends. Funeral services were held Monday, June 29, from the First United
Methodist Church of Livingston, with the Rev. James Frazier, Dr. Don Willis and Bro.
Lindell Mitchell officiating. Interment followed in Bold Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers
were Travis Barnes, Chad Greenwood, Seth Handley, Bubba Jackson, Hec Long, Justin
Morris, Jeremy Perry and Scott Sloan. Honorary pallbearers were Homer Barnes,
Jeremiah Barnes, Josh Clarke, Stan David, Matt Matlock, Erich Morris, Cecil Snook
and Petey Thomas. Cochran Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Livingston – Funeral services for Johnny Marvin Riley, 50, of Livingston, were held
Wednesday, Jan. 8, 1986. He was born Dec. 13, 1935 in Colita to Marvin and Johnnie Marie
Lockhart Riley. He married Mary Jane McPike on Aug. 11, 1962. Riley had 10 years of
meritorious service with the Texas Highway Department, and worked at Campbell Ready Mix until his retirement. Riley is survived by his wife, Mary; two sons, Tom Riley and Johnny Boyd Riley; two daughters, Robin Riley and Tina Riley, all of Livingston; his mother, Johnnie Marie Raines and Step-father, Delmar Raines, both of Moscow; one sister, Lois Marie Hubbard of Corrigan; one brother, Bobby Glenn Riley of Chireno; and one grand-daughter, Misty Renee Riley of Pasadena. Pallbearers were Danny McPike, Gary McPike, David Boaen, Robert Boaen, Hall Hubbard and Ronnie McPike. Honorary Pallbearers were Roy Burch, Tommy Lockhart, Wayne McDaniel and Robert Cochran. Cochran Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Livingston – Graveside services for Cleveland Robertson, 81, of Magnolia, formerly of Livingston, were held Sunday, Oct. 6, 1996, from Bold Springs Cemetery, with the Rev. Harold Isaacs officiating. Mr. Robertson was born June 8, 1915 in North Dakota, the son of John and Eda Jennings Robertson, and died Oct. 3 in Houston. He had been employed as a carpenter and was a veteran of the armed forces. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Sarah Robertson. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Lynn and Sheila Robertson of Magnolia; brother, Aldridge Robertson of Michigan; and grandchildren,
Cody Robertson and Kristy Robertson, both of Magnolia.
Cochran Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
