What is a head?
A head is the part of the body above the neck which has your eyes, nose, mouth and brain in it.
Note: in Britain when you nod your head it means “yes” or shows agreement. When you shake your head it means “no” or shows disagreement
What is hair?
Hair is long thin things that grow on the skin of people and animals
What is an ear?
An ear is one of the two parts of the body of a person or animal that are used for hearing
What is a nose?
A nose is the part of the face above the mouth, that is used for breathing and smelling
What is an eye?
An eye is one of the two organs of the body that we use to see with.
What is a hand?
A hand is the part of a person’s arm below the wrist.
What is an arm?
An arm is the limb at each side of the human body from the shoulder to the hand
What is a leg?
A leg is the part of the body on which a person or animal stands or walks
What is a foot?
A foot is the lowest part of the leg, below the ankle on which a person or animal stands
What is a mouth?
A mouth is the part of your face that you use for eating and speaking
