  • Notice that many of these verbs can be used with other meanings in which the continuous form is possible:

Are you seeing (=visiting) your doctor tomorrow?

I can’t stop thinking about (=imagining) food.

I was just admiring (=looking at with admiration) your new kitchen.

Mother was busy weighing flour for the cakes.
