NESA is included in a study tour to South Africa in 2006 to learn from experiences. NESA developed a new strategic plan in 2005, including HIV/AIDS mainstreaming As such no need for extra funds: should be included in regular funding cycle. |

Remark: Four counterparts visited are not included in this overview as it was known at the beginning of this evaluation that these organisations had installed separate units or separate HIV/AIDS programmes. Hence they have been treated as AIDS-focussed organisations: SACBC AIDS desk and Plan Malawi (visited by ETC Crystal); Lilongwe Diocese and Plan India (visited by ACE Europe)
Under evaluation question 4 the way these organisations have dealt with mainstreaming is further explored. The table below gives a concluding overview of the contribution of the CFAs to this process.
