  1. Addiction medicine, palliative medicine, sexual health medicine and sports and exercise medicine were recognised as specialties in 2009.

  2. Dermatology was able to identify and report advanced trainees separately from 2007.

  3. Emergency medicine and paediatrics data account for trainees undertaking paediatric emergency medicine.

  4. Until the end of 2014, the AGPT program was managed by GPET, which was owned and funded by the Australian Government.
