PLAN OF THE LESSON


OBJECT : English

SUBJECT : My Room

AIM : to develop the pupil's competence to have a free

conversation

OBJECTIVES:At the and of the lesson the pupils will be able to:


  • O1-develop their vocabulary with: carpet, table, armchair, television, telephone, chair, bed, cupboard.

  • O2-speak freely and correctly about their room and pieces of furniture.

  • O3-recognize the objects when it speaks about them.

TYPE OF THE LESSON : lesson of developing conversation skill


THE DIDACTIC STRATEGY : conversation, to describe some

objects of furniture.

In front of the classroom I'll have a picture

of a room with everything it can

have:shelves,desk, television, carpet,

armchair, bed, table, telephone, vase.

I'll point to the picture every object and I'll

tell them the word in English and after that in

Romanian.

I repeat all the words and then I'll test the

pupils if they have been attentive:!' I’ll show

an object on the picture and they will try to

After that I'll bring toys which represent pieces of furniture:table, chair, and I'll put them on the teacher's desk.First I'll call every pupil to the teacher's desk and I'll choose a toy and he will have to say its name .After that I'll call every pupil again ,but this time I'll name an object and they will have to recognize the object and show it to his classmates.

-at this moment of the lesson I'll use the picture of the room again and we will repeat all new words once again.

the pupils will receive each of them a test-paper.

-on this paper they will see some pieces of furniture and I'll name some of them and they will have to mark a cross near these objects.
