(N) UG - Empowerment and Resilience of Girls and Gender Equity (EMERGE): The objective of this project is to mitigate the additional risks of violence against women and girls (VAWG) posed by labor influx associated with infrastructure investments in Uganda. The project will strengthen country systems and institutional capacity to implement existing legislation and policies around prevention of VAWG and will scale-up evidence-based interventions for prevention and response to VAWG in selected areas.
