LAKE VICTORIA TRANSPORT PROGRAM - SOP1, RWANDA: The program development objective has been identified as the following: to facilitate the sustainable movement of goods and people across Lake Victoria, whilst strengthening the institutional framework for navigation and maritime safety.
The project development objective for SOP1 has been identified as the following: 13.to contribute to the efficient and safe movement of goods and people along the regional corridor from the border crossing at Rusumo to the border crossing at Nemba, together with improvements to asset management and road safety in Rwanda.
