GPOBA Scale-up for Bangladesh RERED II: The proposed GPOBA grant in the amount of US$ 15 million would help finance the costs associated with further scaling up of RERED II project’s renewable energy components supporting installations of SHSs, solar powered mini-grids, solar irrigation pumps, and biogas plants. The grant will be implemented by the Infrastructure Development Company Limited (IDCOL), fully owned by the Government. The program is implemented by IDCOL through eligible Partner Organizations (POs) and project sponsors. Approval completed on 13 February 2015. Environmental Assessment Category B. US$ 15.0 (GPBA).
