WEST USA

ALASKA STATE

James Paul.Heberle (Ettenheim branch) enlisted in the Army Air Corps in 1941and completed meteorology cadet training at the University of Chicago Institute of Meteorology. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant and spent the next 2 1/2 years of active duty in the Alaska-Aleutians area. He was weather officer at Amchitka.

Irvin Lyle Heberle d Bakersfield 2003 aged 90. He was b 1912, in Butte MT, to Joseph and Hazel Bainbridge Heberle. Irvin lived most of his life in Bakersfield. He retired from Western Gulf Oil Company, after 37 years, in 1973. He spent time at his mountain home in Huntington Lake with wife, Leona. Survived by his sons, Jack and Jeffrey (m Cecilia); grandchildren, Whitney Heberle, Jeffrey Heberle Junior, Christine Heberle Duey (m Kade Duey) and great-grandchildren, Joshua Heberle, Cole and Gabriella Duey.



Fontana CA

Pauline Cornelisseu m Leo Paul Heberle of Sturgeon Bay WI. She lived in Fontana CA for 45 years, until her death in 2001. Pauline had a beauty shop in Fontana for 30 years. They had 2 daughters, Darlene Heberle of Fontana and Shirley Bishop-Schmock of Fontana.

Frieda Heberle (Alpirsbach branch) b 1924, on a farm near Herried SD to Fred and Rosina Schuler Heberle. They moved to a farm west of Hazelton, when she was 5, then to a farm NW of Linton, when she was 11, where she attended school. She graduated from Linton High School. She moved to Lodi CA, where she worked and attended night classes to obtain her teaching certificate. She m Albert Stoller, then Virgil Pagel. She was a teacher and retired after working for 22 years in Stockton School District. She d 1998 in Stockton CA.


Edward Heberle (Alpirsbach branch, son of Fred and Rosina Schuler Heberle) b 1926 Herried, d 1988 Stockton CA. He m Sarah Bashara and lived in Bismarck ND, before moving to Lodi in 1956, where he owned a car wash. He served in the navy during WWII. Survived by wife Sara, daughter Nancy of Lodi, son Ron of Lodi, son Fred of Tennessee. Sara (Bashara) Heberle graduated 1941 from University of N Dakota, retired teacher, lived in Lodi CA in 1997. Volunteer reader in schools and nursing homes. Volunteer of the year 1999 at Lodi CA grape festival.
Edwin Heberle (Alpirsbach branch, son of Fred and Rosina Schuler Heberle) b 1928 Linton ND, d 2003 in Vacaville. Lived in Vacaville for 7 years prior to living in the Bay Area and Lodi for many years. Veteran of the Korean War. Retired from the city of San Francisco Port Authority. Survived by his wife, Barbara; stepdaughters, Michele Joseph of Aptos, Nancy Reyes of Richmond.

Fred Heberle (Alpirsbach branch) b 1892 near Odessa Ukraine, d 1955 Lodi CA, a son of Frederick and Barbara Heberle. He m Rosina Schuller in 1921 in Herreid SD and moved to Emmons county ND in 1928. Moved to Lodi in 1954. Survived by 3 brothers, William, John and Karl, a sister Mrs Emma Schell, a former Bismarck resident, 3 daughters, Mrs Frieda Stoller, Emma Streyle of Hazelton, Irene Will and 2 sons Edward of Bismarck ND and Edwin of Lodi and 14 grand children.


Los Angeles CA

Alois George, son of Alois George Heberle (Rottenburg branch), m Mary Baier. In the 1960s they lived in Los Angeles. He worked in the lumber business. Members of the Rottenburg branch. They had 5 children: Judith, Roger, Mary, Randall and Ronald.


Roger A. Heberle, 36, of Bethel CA, d 2000 in Coon Rapids. Roger was b 1963 Los Angeles CA, to Alois Georg and Mary Baier Heberle. He was an assembler at Bermo Company. Member of the Rottenburg branch. He was survived by his wife, Susan; children: Miranda, Tamara, Josh, Adam and Megan; parents, Alois and Mary Heberle; a sister and 2 brothers, Randall and Ronald.

Stockton CA

0 Heberle 2005. 3 Heberle 1903-1997.

Henry Heberle, aged 9, was reported in the Stockton Independent of 14.8.1903 under the heading: "ran away from home". He tried to walk to Comanche (where his father was in business) but was overtaken and returned to the family residence, c3 km E of Stockton.


San Diego CA

Chuck (Charles Tracy IV) Heberle (Oshkosh branch) owned an aircraft in San Diego in 1998. He belonged to an experimental aircraft association. He was in the navy (pilot) in Hawaii until c1997. Member of Oshkosh branch. His wife (Margie) Marjorie F Heberle was a lieutenant commander in the US Navy Medical Corps, in 1997 and a Dr in San Diego in 1998.


Santa Cruz CA

James H (Jim) H Heberle (Laudenbach branch) of Santa Cruz was on the Board of Directors of International Mobile Telecommunications Association in 1998. He was Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Monterey Telecom in Scotts Valley. Jim has a Biological Sciences degree from the University of California and did graduate work in marine biology. He has been involved in nature conservancy, buying private land for donation to public lands, with the California State Parks conservation group.
