In 1936 Dr Clement King Heberle (Oshkosh MN branch) ran the Restcroft Sanitarium in Rockport (Boston MA), which treated people for a wide variety of ailments, notably fever. He had 2 sons, Richard Winchester and Clement King. He moved his family to Florida from Gloucester MA. They settled in Daytona Beach where he started a private medical practice as a General Practitioner and Dermatologist.


Richard Winchester Heberle of Daytona Beach FL graduated from Stetson Uni in De Land FL in 1972. He served in Korean War in 13th Bomb Squadron. In 2004 he lived in Daytona Beach FL.

Clement King Heberle III graduated from Mainland High School Daytona Beach in 1973. He joined the US Army after graduation from high school. He served for 20 years in the Army (1973-1993) in communications and electronics. He did a MBA at Brenau University, BS Electronics Management at Southern Illinois University and AAS electronics at Georgia Military College. Graduated from Georgia Military College with a degree in Communications Electronics Technology. Worked as a mobile telecommunications computer instructor at GTE and US Signal Corp. Served in Korea and was based in Kansas, Georgia, Fort Jackson SC, Fort Hood TX, Germany and Netherlands. His last assignment prior to retirement from the Army was as a Communications Electronics Chief for a signal battalion located in Darmstadt, Germany. During those 20 years he worked in or visited Paris, France; Brussels, Belgium; Rotterdam and Amsterdam in the Netherlands; Seoul and Tong-du-Chon, South Korea; Rome, Pisa, and Assisi, Italy; Frankfurt, Berlin, Munich, Nuremberg, Wurzburg, Bremen, Bremerhaven, Rothenburg, Kitzingen, Garmisch, and many other cities in Germany; and Salzburg and Vienna, Austria. Over half of his 20 years of military service was spent overseas. Met wife Lydia while stationed at Fort Gordon GA. She was b Seoul, South Korea. In 1997 he was a computer director/instructor, in Saint Mary on the Hill Catholic School in Augusta GA. In 1998 lived in Spruce Creek and worked in Daytona Beach. In 1999 he lived in Hephzibah GA. He worked for Volusia County Health Department in Daytona Beach FL in 2000-2003 as an Office Automation Specialist. He owned a Web Hosting and Design company called Floridawebmaster.net.

Clarence Albert Heberle (Darmstadt branch) d 1999 (age 89) in Orlando FL. Born in Pittsburgh PA, he moved to Central Florida in 1972. He worked in customer service. Daughter Audrey lived in Orlando, Carol lived in Stanley, son Robert lived in Wexford PA and Glenn in Jeanette PA.

In 1996 retired in Louisville KY. In 1998, Associate Professor Emeriti, Physics Dept at University of New York in Buffalo. Also worked as lecturer at Syracuse Uni and Oklahoma State University and Lafayette College (Easton PA). Researched hydrogen atom, spectroscopy, molecular structure, super conducting magnets and electro dynamics. He was a law student at Uni of Louisville c1996-98.
Jeanne Marchesseau Heberle m Klaus Hinrich Heberle in 1955. She graduated from Louisiana State University. Has MA in education from Eastern Kentucky University. Is an early childhood education specialist. Worked for State governments in that capacity. She established the Klaus H Heberle scholarship in memory of her husband, Klaus H Heberle. Dr Heberle began his law school career at age 65, upon his retirement from Eastern Kentucky University where he had served as a political science professor.

In 1997 was a Professor of Developmental Psychology. In 1997 lived in Roxborough PA. In 2000-2001 assistant professor in psychology at Albright College in Reading PA.
Renee Jeanette Heberle, daughter of Klaus Hinrich, b Syracuse NY, m Bill Rose in 1998. Graduated from Brandeis University, did BA in theatre. PhD from University of Massachusetts, Amherst, in Political Science. In 1996-97 a visiting assistant professor at State University of New York in Potsdam. In 1998, Assistant Professor of Political Science at Potsdam. In 1997-99 in Department of Political Science at the University of Toledo OH. Has done articles in Hypatia and Feminist ethico-politics and research on feminist theory and sexual politics. Member of feminist organisations. Member of National Organization for Women (NOW), Feminist Majority Foundation, American Political Science Association (APSA). In 2001, Assistant Prof of Political Science and Public Admin at Uni of Toledo. Expert on women and politics, political philosophy, sexual harassment, theories of race, gender, ethnicity. Lauren Carola Heberle, daughter of Klaus Hinrich, b Stillwater OK. She m Jonathon Lowe. Graduated from University of Chicago 1989. In 1997 lived in New Brunswick NJ. Graduate student in Sociology at Rutgers University, NJ 1998. Doctoral thesis "Gender and social status in extremist social movements. The nazi party 1919-1929". She won a German Historical Institute Dissertation Scholarship in 1999. Economics lecturer Uni of Louisville KY in 2000. Lauren was a PhD candidate at Rutgers University in the Department of Sociology in New Brunswick NJ, in 2002. She has taught undergraduate courses at Rutgers University and at the University of Louisville. In 2004 is a post-doctoral research fellow with the Center for Environmental Policy and Management with a specialization in social theory, research methodology, environmental insurance and brownfields redevelopment.

Graduated from University of Gottingen as a gymnastics teacher. In 1924, he m Franziska Tonnies. Children: Juergen Wilhelm (b Konigsberg/Kaliningrad, PhD physics at Columbia University, professor of physics), Klaus Hinrich (b Kiel, PhD political science, University of Chicago, professor of political science), Antje Kolodzie (b Kiel, BA at Mt. Holyoke College). In 1915-23 Rudolf studied economics, sociology and law in Germany. In 1926-29 fellow at Laura Spellman Rockefeller Memorial Foundation, USA. In 1937 worked in USA on problems of internal migration. In 1937 lost financial support in Germany. In 1938 emigrated to USA. From 1938 professor of sociology, Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge LA. In 1955 Boyd Professor of sociology at Louisiana State University. Wartime consultant to US government. Did work on migration, social and political movements and elections. Researched demography, labor force and social change. Books written in USA included “From Democracy to Nazism: A Regional Case Study on Political Parties in Germany“; “The Labor Force in Louisiana“; “Social Movements: An Introduction to Political Sociology“; “Schriftenreihe der Vierteljahrshefte fur Zeitgeschichte“; coauthor, “The Louisiana Elections of 1960“; Other books written in Germany. More than 80 journal articles and contributions to encyclopaedias.


Franziska Tonnies Heberle was a resident of Baton Rouge 1938, until her death at the age of 97 in 1997. Born in Altona, Germany, daughter of Ferdinand Tonnies. She was a governess in Norway in the 1920s. She met Otto Rudolf Heberle at University of Kiel and m him in 1924. Retired as a civil service examiner for Louisiana Department of Civil Service. In 1938 she attended graduate school social work at Louisiana State University. She was a social worker, research statistician, personnel technician, children's caseworker. Earned a Master's degree in social work at LSU. She worked for the State of Louisiana until 1962. Dr and Mrs Heberle became US citizens on D-Day.
Antje Elisabeth Heberle, daughter of Otto Rudolf, b Kiel. She m Edward Kolodziej in 1959. Did Bachelor of Arts at Mt Holyoke College. Lived in Kiel 1935-38, Baton Rouge 1938. In 1996 lived in Champaign-Urbana IL.
