Summary

In the article the motive of the miraculous birth of the hero in the epos Oghuz is investigated on the typological context. The motive of birth reflected in the epos is analysed generally in both directions - as normal and the mira­culous birth. The motive of the birth of the hero shows the different characters in the epos Oghuz (such as the motive of hero's birth, the birth of his horse are given in parallel form or substituted form). The heroes of the Oghuz epos can be born with magical means, such as apples, applause (pray) and etc. In the schedule by A.Aarne the main indicator of the miraculous birth definited as the plot number 707 is explained typologically and in the ritual context.
