Topics and publications of scientific research are devoted to the investigation of professional activity and pedagogical competences of potential teachers, as well as topical questions of pedagogical higher schools of education, problems of school development, intercultural education and bilingual education in schools of Latvia.


Evaluation of Work:

Award of Distinction given by the Ministry of Education and Science in the Republic of Latvia for significant contribution in the higher education of Latvia, 27 August 1997.
Award of Distinction given by the Liepāja Academy of Pedagogy for active work in developing and managing master studies, 5 November 1999.

Award of Distinction given by Liepāja City Council on 17 November 2002 for essential contribution in teacher further education in Latvia and in promoting the society integration process in the city.
