Summary of Decisions

3D-HEVC


  • Adopt VPS concept, as proposed in (m24714, m24878, m24945, m24896, m24919) into the HTM software.

  • Do not recommend any suggestions on modifying the base spec. in this meeting.

  • Reuse the original syntax elements in the HEVC base specification for reference picture list construction and list combination, as proposed in m24876.

  • Alignment of IDR pictures within an access unit, in HTM, as proposed in m24874.

3D-AVC

  • Introduce a flag for each view to indicate the decoding order, and syntax clean-ups based on that, as proposed in m24892.

  • Adopt reference picture list modification syntax as proposed in m24890.

  • Adopt m24946 for EHP and extend it to further flexibilities as described in m24891, without changes in sequence parameter set.

SEI messages

  • Adopt m25256 after the showcase is provided and with syntax cleanup, to support signalling of reference screen width, reference viewing distance, reference baseline distance and a shift parameter. This only applies to 3D-AVC.

  • Adopt m24730 on modification of positions of existing syntax elements in the depth acquisition SEI message. This applies to both 3D-AVC and 3D-HEVC.
