This document was a BoG report on informal subjective viewing for the deblocking filtering that was held during the San Jose meeting on February 2, 2012. The subjective viewing was conducted according to the mandate of Core Experiment 10 on deblocking filtering JCTVC-G1210. The goal of the informal subjective viewing test was to determine how the deblocking filter proposals affect the subjective quality. In total, 15 proposals from CE10 were evaluated in the subjective test.
(The first version of the document had an error in the computation of confidence intervals.)
No significant differences seemed discernable from the subjective test results.
