Discussion of CE performance The Chair presented an excerpt from the 92nd Audio Report that reported on a discussion of a framework for judging the performance of CE technology. The Chair noted that there could be a “low bar” such that CEs whose performance are below that are rejected and a “high bar” such that CEs whose performance are above that are accepted. CEs whose performance is between (in the “grey zone”) must be discussed and all pros and cons weighted, with acceptance being, of necessity, a subjective judgement by the group.
