Translation of PALE NATIVE. Du Preez is a well-known, if controversial, journalist whose career as an investigative journalist has been filled with drama. He is probably best known as the founder and editor of the VRYE WEEKBLAD, South Africa's only anti-apartheid Afrikaans newspaper and for his weekly television report on the TRC hearings.
