This contribution proposes a new test sequence for the SCC CTC. This sequence consists of content depicting Chinese text editing. The coding results from SCM-4.0 demonstrate different statistics in the usage of coding tools when compared with the existing SCC test sequences.
The contribution proposes a new test sequence with 600 frames in RGB 4:4:4 8 bit format.
It was commented that it would be nice to use this content, as it depicts Chinese rather than English alphabet characters. It depicts text editing.
YUV and 4:2:0 generation was requested.
Decision (CTC): Add to TGM category of CTC.
