Duties


As an EL1 Change Manager you will work under broad direction and will be accountable for exercising a considerable degree of independence and performing a leadership role. You will lead one or more work teams and will be accountable to allocate and manage resources and manage the performance of employees in accordance with legislation, APS and agency policies and instructions.
You will work in the ATO Change Management team within the Design and Change Management business line. You will work closely to further develop our internal change capability and competency to support staff and key change priorities across the organisation. You will have a track record in delivering outstanding people change results and meeting critical timeframes. You will have a consultative nature with excellent interpersonal skills and possess the ability to build rapport with clients and key stakeholders.
This position will be filled on a non-ongoing basis, up to 18 months.

Duties




Under limited direction, APS Level 6 employees:



  • Prepare options, recommendations and advice for the Commission on:

  • methods for measuring differences between States in their costs of providing services

  • methods for measuring differences between States in their capacities to raise revenues.

  • Either individually or as a member of a project team, undertake complex investigations and research.

  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders to the Commission’s inquiries including State Treasuries and data providers.

  • Assist with the planning and preparation of reports.
